Mike was attentive to my required repairs and circumstances. He offered possible additional repairs upfront for my front differential of my truck during my inquiry, with transparency.

The owner Steve booked me in fast once he returned from vacation. There quoted time for repairs was exact.

I was traveling and their compassion will never be forgotten and paid forward. Amazing team built with trust and honesty.

Absolutely saved my butt after I bought a truck off an auction online (even worse..without seeing it) turns out it would not engage in any gear. Anyway Steve was recommended to me by a good friend who had his own amazing story about Northern Transmission. I called and explained the situation and then had it towed to Steve, he called me the next day saying he had checked it over and that there was no issue with the Tansmission per se but the Transfer case was shot. He had already ordered one from the wreckers on my behalf and promised to have it ready for the road soon. Again I was surprised that it was done the next day. I would probably have ordered a transmission or paid someone else to repair it (they may have charged me for both a tranny and a transfer case). Pros like Steve are hard to find these days...I highly recommend this shop for their knowledge and honesty.

Steve is a kind, knowledgeable and honest man. We brought our vehicle to his shop for a transmission rebuild. We originally had it at a different shop in Midland but we were treated like a nuisance due to our difficult waranty company. Steve not only treated us like a priority he was on our side the whole time and helped fight with the waranty. He got the job done in a timely and professional manner. We appreciate Steve more than words can express. Highly recommend.

took my /57 Chev Belair to them Steve and the boys worked VERY hard to change the exhaust including new ceramic headers and stainless steel pipes front to back. Also changed the leaking gas tank fuel guage and tweaked the 700R4 trannie for better shifting and compleating it all in just two days. Great job guys!!

I hope steve still remembers me—sorry steve, I forgot to write this review earlier—but the great service definitely deserves to be recognized.

I visited Northern Transmission a while back like 3-4 months ago with my Nissan Murano, which is covered under the People’s Choice Warranty. I was concerned about a strong gas smell coming from the exhaust. Steve and his team took a close look at the issue, and unlike most places that charge around $100 just for a diagnostic check, he didn’t charge me anything.

They didn’t find anything wrong and assured me the vehicle was in good condition—it might have just been due to the cold winter weather. Still, I appreciated the time and honesty they showed.

While I was there, I also asked to have the transmission fluid changed as part of routine maintenance. Steve only charged a fair labour fee for the service, which I found very reasonable.

Overall, Steve and his team are professional, trustworthy, and fair. I highly recommend Northern Transmission and will definitely be coming back for future maintenance and repairs.

So I went to northern transmission, was told they were good. I was quoted much higher, but these guys were fair and honest and fixed the issue. If you're looking for a fair and honest mechanic, call Northern Transmission plus!

Had a transmission light show up on my car and called Steve to ask for help. He told me to bring the vehicle in and he would check the code. I did this and within a few minutes he informed me of the code and issue. Excellent customer service to diagnose the issue so I knew what I was up against. Thanks Steve and my CAA driver too.
