I LOVE Norwood. The amount of supports and programs they offer is incredible. I've made a few friends there, and so has my son! Their respite program is amazing, the only people I really feel comfortable watching my boy. We even stop to say hi when we are there for other programs. They have helped this single momma out so so much with community and supports, I will forever be grateful. Can not recommend them enough.

It's been a life-changing experience being connected with the amazing people at Norwood. You feel like part of the family, safe, appreciated, respected. Their staff is phenomenal, kind, nurturing, understanding. Everyone with children should be connected to this amazing place. They offer so many free services: Free parent workshops with childminding, respite with delicious nutritious hot meals, counseling, parent coaching, child play groups, so much here is phenomenal I don't know how they do it all. Because of Norwood, I know my children can face kindergarten and preschool with confidence.

Thank you to our team of wonderful people. You have been the village, family, and support network weour family was missing. You have given me strength, safety, and opportunity. You have given my children an incredible boost, I cannot begin to express my gratitude but you have all done so much for my family and I will never forget the incredible generosity and encouragement of our Norwood family ❤️

Excellent facility for children of all backgrounds. The atmosphere is well organized & calm rather than loud, I find that astounding considering how many children they serve.
I appreciate all the compassionate & patient staff here. Especially Barbra, Princeton Jashan, Lincy &Naza I observe all are well trained & they work tirelessly to ensure the kids are safe & have a meaningful time.
My child loves going here and I’ve noticed progress whereby it will give my child a boost or “head start” before kindergarten.

This place is amazing. Since I got referred to this place in summer 2023 I’ve been an able to attend lots of programs and receive lots of help and supports from amazing staff who truly care about the families , children and communities that Norwood serves. I enjoy the play groups, haven’t used the respite program yet but probably will at some point, and am very happy with home visitation which I just got referred to. I would highly reccomend this place .

Fantastic!! I've been taking my daughter who's 2 now for almost a year for respite childcare, home visitations, and soon potty training in my house. They have classes and many activities for little ones too! The workers are so pleasant and kind and they have a kitchen for homemade meals! This Centre made a positive impact and changed our lives! With no family/friends in Edmonton and trouble finding reasonably priced childcare, Norwood's Respite Temporary Daycare saved my sanity giving me a much needed break! The daycare also gives Violet socialization with other children preparing her for preschool years. Not to mention the staff who make this place as bright and wonderful for the little ones! All the social workers I've met are so great with kids and treat the parents with respect no matter your background.

Ever since I got connected with norwood child and family resource its been a great life changing experience. They have the best staff, respite, best activities for kids and the best support for single parents facing so much difficulties.

I've taken an "exploring emotions" course here and use their child respite program here. The staff is amazingly helpful and they also provide free child-minding, coffee and snacks while you attend a course. Shout outs to Maven and Victoria for taking good care of my baby while I was in class. A lovely place with lots of programs and resources for families - and their ceiling of lights Christmas decorations are so beautiful. I'd visit just to see them.

If you have a special needs child or an autistic child I’m pretty sure this place is not for you. I sent my child here multiple times his diaper never got changed. I can recall one time I pick him up and it was not full I was told they specialize in special needs children that they have help for it. I got to the point where I didn’t wanna take my son to daycare. And then they have the nerve to call me when I’m clearly having issues with her to tell me he’s not working out for them anymore Like what the f the options are suppose to be “ nutritious “ but my child didn’t wanna eat any of it even if it was his favourite food 2/10 don’t recommend
