I had a great experience with OK Tire. After getting my brakes done, I noticed a squeaking noise that wasn’t there before. The team was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating — they got me in right away, fixed the issue without any delay, and made sure I was well taken care of. It’s rare to find such excellent customer service, and I really appreciated how they handled everything. I’ll definitely be back for future repairs and would highly recommend them!

I brought my Honda Civic in for a timing belt service, brake fluid exchange, and PCV valve replacement on September 5th 2025. I generally do most of my own automotive repairs, but my schedule has gotten much busier, so I needed to get some work done at a shop. I've had friends who brought vehicles here before and have been satisfied with the service.

During the service, they informed me that my vehicle is not equipped with a PCV valve, so they wouldn't be replacing it. For the record, the vehicle is equipped with a PCV valve; it is located behind the intake manifold. Nonetheless, I believed them at the time and deferred that part of the service.

Everything else seemed to have gone O.K., until a few weeks later when I went to remove my wheels. On Oct. 1st I found the front wheel lugs were so severely over-torqued that multiple wheel studs broke while trying to remove them.

When I called the shop, they were very quick to get me in and inspect the car, which I appreciate. However, they were only willing to accept responsibility for the driver's side. On the phone, they claimed they only removed the driver's side wheel for the timing belt service. I asked how they performed the brake fluid service on the passenger front without removing the wheel, and they informed me that it's possible to access the brake bleeder from behind the wheel, as they "only remove wheels if absolutely necessary." This policy is strange, as removing a wheel is a trivial task in a shop and is standard practice for ensuring a proper brake flush.

This is the core issue with their story: they accepted responsibility for the sheared studs on the wheel they admit to removing, but not for the identically over-torqued studs on the passenger side. I track all maintenance on this car and can attest that the last time it was in a shop or had the wheels touched was one month prior with them.

Finally, while they were fixing the studs, I reviewed the inspection report, which listed nonsensical items like "front end dips under braking" (pic attached). I found it quite interesting that basic physics were listed as "needing future attention"

In the end, they did discount the repair by $174, which I appreciate, but I still had to pay $251 out of pocket for damage that the evidence strongly suggests I did not cause.

We have used OK Tire for many years now and have been super impressed by their honesty in assessing problems with our vehicles and charges associated with fixing them. Recently there were 2 additional problems (added to a long list) to fix our vehicle and they didn't charge extra when they found it was either a mishap in the shop or else something unexpected happened during the repair work. Honesty in this business is rare. I would highly recommend using their services.

These guys were great. I took my travel trailer in for new tires and grease axles. In short the job was done quickly and exactly as quoted, with reasonable rates.While the wheels were off I asked the tech if he could see any additional issues. An honest evaluation was given with no other issues. I have since brought my Rav 4 in for coolant and transmission flush, along with an over all evaluation for any additional issues. Once again an honest evaluation was performed with no additional issues. I am very happy with ok tire, and I would say they are much better than just "ok". Name change? Possibly? This company has earned my trust, respect and I will be in touch with them for my other automotive. requirements.
