The only hardware store for kms around that had what I needed!

It's farther than I like to drive, coming from Black Diamond, but it's nice having a fully stocked hardware closer than Calgary.

Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

As a contractor I'm in here often. The staff is always friendly and helpful. even at stupid o'clock in the morning. Now that's special!

I shop here regularly. Most days the experiences are good, but other days, it's difficult to support them.

The store in my opinion needs a serious reset. The amount of old junk in some parts of it are just nuts frankly. Half the time you stand in line at the cashes with you not knowing if a cashier is there or even them knowing that you are waiting to be served. All this because the insane amount of junk cluttered around that cashes so much so that the cashiers can barely see over the pile of junk.

Simple products like an advertised sale in a flyer on Drywall Compound...... they don't even stock the product.....why is it on sale if you don't stock it...... no I don't want to wait a week for a bucket of drywall compound to be ordered and arrive from the warehouse..... it's not like I'm asking for a Gazebo kit to be in-stock.

Wood prices are competitive, so are most other building materials. Staff can be awesome, but they can also be a challenge to get assistance from at times, moody would be a good way to describe it. Not expecting Frontline workers to be perfect, but nonetheless it is something to note.

Like I said, it really is a hit and miss experience here. A new, larger, brighter and more well stocked Home Hardware is badly needed for a town approaching 40,000 in Population.

Will I keep shopping here... Absolutely! I just know to prepare myself to be let down when coming here. Don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed!

Went there to get some paint for an old dresser. I had no clue what I needed but Dani was incredibly helpful. She set me up with a good primer, helped me pick a colour and gave me lots of tips and tricks. She really went above and beyond and explained exactly how to paint it for the best results. If you need to paint something, Dani is your girl!

Today I saw a special garden tool designed to pick up fallen fruit and nuts..and hopefully pine cones..saw a customer buy one just for that.
Always enjoy visiting and its the place to look for that unique household item like bulbs, screws, tools in general, kitchen gadgets, decorative lights, doormats, bird feeders, seed and more!!
