Touring bicyclists review: No reservation was needed. Shower and restroom facility available until store closing time (clean. but had an odor in shower area). Primitive outhouse available after store closes until morning opening. Friendly personnel. Camping sites in need of maintenance - each site had water and power. There is no restaurant. There is no wi-fi. Convenience Store had limited variety of cold drinks and water. Very basic supplies (chips. candy bars. ramen. canned meat, ice cream). We were able to get a restful night's sleep. There were a couple of semi trucks in a large parking lot on the other side of the store that idled all evening - but that lulled us to sleep.. All in all, an adequate camping spot for traveling through the area. $33 CAD for two people/one tent.

Doesn't have a restaurant shut down due to covid. No wifi and sites are grown over and in bad shape.

Came here to get fuel and DEF. No, DEF was available and they only take Efs. No, Comdata. The guy at the front desk was rude.

Otter Falls Cutoff, outside of Haines, Alaska, is a terrific little stop for meals, gifts and necessities while traveling the Alaska Highway. The owner and daughter were very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to stopping again on our next trip.

Wow! Truly an awful experience when it comes to the showers. We’ve been on the road for over three months now and this place hands down wins worst showers - including all throughout Mexico. It smelled soooo bad, like we really shouldn’t even had taken them in hindsight.
The smell hits you in the face as soon as you enter the building. Plus you get the awkward experience of having to walk THROUGH the gift shop with your shower clothes/bag to even get to the showers, which is a bit embarrassing.
But back to the awful smell. It was in every bit of the word rank. I was gagging it smelled so bad. I convinced myself it was coming up from the sewer and it wasn’t the water itself, so I proceeded to take the shower. About mid way through I realized my mistake. I had gotten some of the water in my mouth and it literally burned. Y’all… I’m not over exaggerating, it was seriously putrid. I immediately got out and I’ve been itchy ever since, my face is red and itchy and so is my scalp. I don’t know what that water was but it wasn’t clean, I know that. I honestly regret showering there. I even woke up with my eyes all crusted over. I don’t even want to think about what I showered in.
Even my husband who seemingly couldn’t care less about water quality was like “yeah we definitely should not have showered once we smelled how bad it was in there”.
Oh and get this! It’s by far the most expensive shower we’ve ever taken on the road $40 to camp and it doesn’t even include the showers… which are a whopping $7 each. Please guys, for the sake of your health do.not.shower here.

Place has gone downhill. New ownership? It used to serve food and be open later. No food and closes early. It used to accept EFS-with no problem for our trucks diesel. Now it's like whoever is working acts like they don't know how to use it. We don't go here anymore.
