I wish I could give this school a zero. Olqp bathrooms are dirty and the toilet paper is as thin as paper. The teachers here are not good, they say the school is a good environment but it’s really not the staff members are rude and they won’t mind there own business I was walking to the bathroom and one of the staff followed me to the washrooms also I saw a kid run out the school and went on the field and the staff saw and just left him there and the weather was at least -20 they didn’t run after him at all and once the kid came back in they send him home, you also how to pay a fee for this supervision thing idk but it’s useless idk why I have to pay 100++ dollars for people doing there
job and idk what there using my money for to. Also it’s also it’s not fair cause these French kids get to go to Quebec while the English kids get to have normal field trips. I hate it here and if you want your kids to have a good education then I suggest you don’t come here at all and if you want to save money to do not come here also there is mice’s and cockroaches the food they serve here is uncooked.

i wish i could give this school a 0 The Issue with Teacher Conduct at OLQP

Our Lady Queen of Peace (OLQP) is often praised for its values and community spirit. However, one significant concern among students is the demeanor of some teachers, which detracts from the overall learning experience. While education should be rooted in respect and mutual understanding, there have been recurring instances where the conduct of certain faculty members at OLQP falls short of this ideal.

Firstly, a supportive learning environment is essential for academic and personal growth. However, reports of rude and dismissive behavior from teachers create a climate of discomfort and discourage open communication. When students are met with hostility or impatience, they may become less inclined to seek help, ask questions, or participate in class discussions. This hinders their academic progress and damages their self-confidence.

Secondly, respect is a two-way street in any educational setting. While students are expected to maintain discipline and respect towards teachers, it is equally important for teachers to exhibit professionalism and empathy. Unfortunately, when teachers resort to condescending language or punitive attitudes, it can foster resentment and reduce students’ trust in the institution.

Furthermore, rude teacher behavior can have lasting impacts beyond the classroom. It not only diminishes the overall school experience but also affects students' attitudes toward authority figures and their future learning environments. Schools should be places where students feel safe, heard, and motivated—not judged or belittled.

In conclusion, OLQP has the potential to provide a nurturing and inspiring educational experience. However, addressing the issue of teacher conduct is crucial. By fostering a culture of respect and understanding, OLQP can better serve its students and uphold its mission of holistic education.

I am still in OLQP and let me just say it might be one of the worst schools I've been to. The principal is not only racist but also doesn't care about the wellbeing of her students. I remember one child lost their phone and the principal was giving attitude towards them instead of helping to find their phone. The teachers are one of the only reasons why i'm giving a 2. the teachers always find a way to make my class laugh and out of all the teachers in the school I would say only about 6 teachers are bad. Now let's move onto the school overall. The food is actually disgusting especially the taco in a bag like what the hell is that? the food is also served in bite sized portions and it shouldn't even be classified as lunch. The bathrooms are always being vandalized which makes it really dirty and gross. And recently there was a fight inside the washroom and guess what they did to resolve the matter? They suspended all the students in the fight including those that were recording and present in the bathroom, then they completely banned phones. They banned the phones because they believed it would help reduce the amount of fights which doesn't make any sense especially with the fact that the yearbook kids can no longer take photos on a field trip since their phones were taken away. The students aren't too bad except for the fact that they are all fake and strive for drama and attention but sometimes they are really fun to be around. Honestly the school could be way better if the current principal was replaced.

The principal has done nothing good for anyone in this school.

If you want the best education for your children walk away from this school and enroll them in public school or a different separate school if you can. We left and decided to give it another try, and it is the worst decision I have made. Thank you, GOD the year is almost done, and we are leaving to greener grass

One of the worst schools I have every dealt with. I am a proud practicing roman catholic who's whole family is very involved in the catholic church. I have never witnessed the actions of other.
The principal is biased, racist, disrespectful, rude, very unreasonable and horrible to deal with. Not professional at all.
The principal wipes her hands clean when difficult situation raised. Instead of trying to work with the parents she walks away and leaves it to other staff member deal with. Some of the teaches provide misleading information which is very frustrating and shouldn't be happening. There are instances of rude behaviour by staff members.

I thought it was called our lady queen of peace. There is no peace of mind when dealing with the principal and other staff members. It just breaks my heart as these children that attend here are the future and as parents, we are fighting a losing battle when they attend this school.

This school is disgusting, the principle is extremely racially motivated. The staff that teaches grade 7 and up are horrendous. They publicly shame there pupils and yell at them for no reason. One of the teachers ( Mrs. Smolinski ) doesn’t even know how to teach science correctly. She hands out questions from a new textbook and gives us an old outdated one. Then she’s confused to why we can’t find the answer.

The staff at this school sided with a racist child. Don’t go to this school, it is definitely not worth it ( even if your in elementary ).
