I would not recommend for domestic students. It is important to conduct thorough research before committing financially, as the experience may not provide sufficient value for the cost. In my case, I accumulated $10k in debt but gained limited learning outcomes.
The curriculum appears to be designed primarily with international students in mind and includes numerous subjects that may not be necessary for domestic students. Additionally, the program structure lacks consistency; schedules are often changed midway, making it difficult to balance studies with work or other commitments.

PACE is directed mainly toward international students, so if you are a domestic student, you'll spend hours and hours learning things you already know from primary to high school, like diversity & inclusion, basic communication skills, and overall Canadian cultural behaviour. I took Supply Chain Management, so I thought this course would be more geared towards skills employers want to see, such as procuring and/or scheduling logistics from the first step to the last step and what that looks like on a technological and organizational level. It would have been extremely beneficial to learn necessary industry skills such as Excel, like the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc. while learning how to analyze inventory data and present it in a way that makes sense. I wish I could have learned more relevant industry-related content.

As a domestic student, I felt like a lot of my time and money was wasted, and I feel like I didn't learn nearly as much as I wanted, nor do I feel confident looking for work in my field.

Overall I know PACE means well, and this program is a great choice if you are an international student with lots of experience in your field and want to know more about Canadian organizational behaviours and cultures to help you succeed in the workplace.

If you already have PR, I'd say don't waste your time and money. Get certified instead. If you want to immigrate, use immigration agencies, it will be cheaper for you. Online education is a way less effective and certainly less motivating compared with in person mode. Alternatively, consider self-study. But if you have extra money and time, go to university. Even with online form of education, its better than in other countries. For me personally, looking back, I should have listened to people who self-studied and got certified (project management) instead of going to university. Spending one year of your life and getting into 10,000 debt is the outcome, folks. These are two given "benefits". In theory, a diploma may increase your employment chances, but is it worth the investment, think for yourself.
