Would not recommend this as a winter hike. We went in December and the trail was not groomed. The trail was not well marked, it took a lot longer then the 2 hours everyone say it took them. The are 3 washrooms and numerous shelters on the trail I would definitely do this trail again in the fall.

Had a wonderful time camping here with family. The sites were good sizes and well treed in, and the lake is beautiful 🤎 The outhouses and washrooms were clean and the staff were kind. I definitely would like to come back

Lost two stars for incredibly distressing reservation intake. Do not arrive without site # as this has never been a problem with Parks Canada campgrounds in my experience. When I gave the name of the reservation they declared I did not have a reservation. No attempt to problem solve by staff. Did not ask how to spell my name or licence plate number. Had to call someone who had wifi to give me my site number. After driving over two hours this was incredibly upsetting. They did apologize and I hope going forward the staff are trained in how to manage lost reservations. Some sites are close to a busy highway. Some very beautiful wooded sites. Wood for sale. Snacks and some camping basics available at shop. Lake is nice for swimming with a sandy beach that is groomed in the morning.

Great little lake. There are scenic paths around the lake and lots of areas to explore. Pit toilets are clean in the day use area. The park had a couple of swings for kids.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees and alright distance between camp neighbors. Powered sites are available, and I strongly recommend them as it is still a reasonable price.
The outdoor bathrooms around the grounds are cleaned regularly, and there is a shower building with 12 showers and 8 standard toilets; male/female segregated. These facilities are cleaned regularly as well and the showers are $2 for five minutes of operation. Working showers are always a massive plus, and this campground earns it easily.
The lake is a good size with a busy public beach and a boat launch. This is also a busy water sports lake, so lots of water skiing and tubing. Not so busy that we were still able to enjoy kayaking on the lake.
There are a variety of birds and butterflies/moths in the area with plenty of hiking trails around the lake to take in all the natural beauty of the area.
Very kid friendly, though pets are prohibited from some areas; they are fine at the camp sites.
Highly recommend.

Nice campground, sites have lots of thin birch trees but only low brush. This means lots of visibility between most sites. The beach and lake are very nice. Would certainly go back. Lots of trails in and around the campground that lots of kids were zooming around on bikes on. Good for families. Many ppl brought dogs. Saw a couple of ppl NOT picking up after them, despite signage to do so. Sigh. Didn't seem to be a big problem though.

We hiked, biked, kayaked and golfed. Fabulous vacation. Showers were clean and cost $4.( 2-twonies)
Beach was a bit muddy but all the kiddos had a blast. Lovely treed sites.
