Worst builder, highly unprofessional. They do not respond to calls, emails or messages. On the possession date, i see the master bedroom window is broken and it is negative temperature in Calgary with high gust winds making the home inhabitable. They expect me to take the key/possession today. They should have done pre possession inspection but no, they did not. Don’t buy any property from this builder. Since I cannot back out from agreement that is why they are taking advantage. I want to give negative star

Our experience with Partners has been nothing short of exceptional. We purchased a new build home with them back in January 2024 and the experience from start to finish was incredible. Their construction timeline was 8-12 months for our style of home, but they completed it in exactly 8 months and the product was amazing, we had no major issues, and any smaller issues we found were resolved before we moved in. Every single team member we worked with from Partners was outstanding, kind and professional. We wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone we know. Over the past year I have dealt with Partners Development Group. While they do provide many upgrades on their townhomes, I must say I have been too patient with them. The Sales guy Maurizio seemed professional at first. However after sending documents back for signing, we received someone else’s contract that we shouldn’t be privy to. Also as residents in Darcy we were promised a green space along with another phase of single story townhomes. However now at a recent town counsel meeting they are proposing a 4 story condominium building. During construction, they started insulating before the roof was on with wet insulation. If I hadn’t caught it there would have been a mold issue down the line. The framing of the master bedroom door wasn’t straight leading to rubbing issues. As well the finishing Carpentry was not checked over and there are Brad nails sticking out in 10+ spots through the house (safety hazard). Caps on plumbing in bathrooms are pulling out of the wall. Taking an extra minute to silicone these on would prevent a similar issue. Defective door hinges leading to loud squeaking. Trying to get these items fixed has been like pulling teeth. They expect the client to take multiple days off and then nothing is fixed when I do. This is the third time with deficiencies not being completed leading to my review. Being in the trades myself and consulting with professional colleagues, they have cut many corners. Not installing re-circulating lines has led to hot water taking two minutes to warm up daily. Partner’s prides themselves on being environmentally friendly in their construction but why couldn’t they add $800 on to conserve water instead of waiting for water to warm up. The on-demand water should include a system to deal with the hard water which was never mentioned nor installed. Now as the home owner I have to shell out a few thousand dollars to be environmentally conscious, prevent damage to the hot water system and further maintenance problems down the line.

This really comes down to the builder paying their trades to take pride in their work instead of their warranty team inconveniencing the client by fixing things after the fact. Also educating clients on the full scope of the systems in the house would have prevented this review. All customers want is honesty and transparency which has been breached here on multiple levels.

UPDATE:

Have not received any communication from Partners since my review despite my emails. Very childish and concerning that they are not transparent. Guess the next step is to take ‘legal’ action and warn potential customers this company does not stand behind their product. Very sad to see they are simply hurting their own business.

The Realtors at the Lawrie Park development were so great to work with. I am relocating from Vancouver, and they have kept me abreast of all timelines and possible move in dates, so I can sell my Vancouver home in a timely manner. Whenever I call, they are very pleasant and helpful. I am really looking forward to moving into my new home.

Purchased my first home with Partners in Evanston. Homes are beautifully designed with so much functionality and space available. Great location too, easy access to Stony and Deerfoot, walking distance to Sobeys and other commercial buildings. Sales team (Darcey and Paul), James, and everyone else I’ve been in contact with have been so helpful and responsive. One of the best team you will meet. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality of the home and would definitely recommend Partners to others. Thank you Partners!

⚠️ beware of this company! They don’t even deserve one star. Very poor customer service.
From last 2 years I’m waiting for my house paperwork. I called them and their Lawer ( carscallen LLP) 100 times, sent emails but No one responded. Whenever I called to customer service they always promise me to send it very promptly but the result is always Zero.
Builder installed wrong water pipeline so in winter season we have only hot water in our kitchen. They are saying they fixed it but I have no guarantee on their work. I have to wait until next winter to look at.
One person called me after see my survey, his name was Barkley ( if I’m not wrong ) .
After his call I trust them little bit . He did promise me to fix everything but again same thing happened . Result is Zero.
Overall this company is not trustworthy. Don’t waste your money and time .

What a surreal & grateful moment in my life. Today I received possession of my first home. 2 years ago if you said I’d be a home owner today I’d never believe it, but life takes its paths that sometimes you’d never imagine would happen. Thank you partnershomes, this place is immaculate, and has many amazing features I’d never expect as a standard option for the price I paid. It’s perfect.
