I had gone to this school for a year, knowing a few people there and being familiar with other classmates. Halfway through that year, I had started getting bullied for reasons I'm unsure of. I hadn't done anything wrong, or even talked to them unless forced to at that. Rumours about me and my friends had spread, and everything got so bad to the point where I would beg and cry, even fake being sick or self harm to stay away from school. Just being in Penhold still makes me scared about encountering any of my old bullies. it wasn't until about 2 months before that school year ended that I had brought it up with my parents, in which they talked to the school about it. They told me I still had to go, but half days were an option along with skipping certain classes, that didn't help at all. Rumours spread, and bullying continued. It was to the point where I ended up changing schools before the next school year started, and from a friend of mine that I made at this school, she has told me she is now friends with one of my bullies, and that girl talks about me to this very day, apparently "hating me so she bullied me just because". None of my bullies had gotten any punishment, no parental conference, no suspension, nothing. It pains me to even think about them as to how they've affected my entire life and personality, damaging my mental health more than it already has been (diagnosed depression, social anxiety, mood disorder). I reached about 15 suicide attempts due to it, and non-stop self harm when I had the chance. I had grown scared of everyone, and would make desperate attempts to stay home and isolate myself. I would even try to get myself into a mental hospital when offered by therapists because I was desperate to be away from a place surrounded by people who hurt me so badly. I don't recommend going to this school at all, unless they actually do something about these major situations. They did nothing useful to help me, in which made things worse.

honestly a really bad and unprofessional school, teachers tend to be rude and demanding. while some can be nice, overall they dont exactly do their job properly, not bothering to help the more introverted and silenced kids along with forcing them to speak up when they dont feel comfortable doing so, and often favoring the more outgoing students. along with the students, bullying and harassment pretty much doesnt get sorted out unless some kid has to talk to a teacher, and since its usually due to picking on a more introverted kid, that student doesnt feel comfortable with interacting with the staff in terms of being bullied.
