I love Pera College! It is conveniently located in Downtown location and close to any shopping location. The programs offered by the school fits my need in English learning and adequate to my level. Materials provided were practical and easy to absorb. Teachers are very friendly. They have very forward thinking and teach with a very engaging attitude which really motivate me in learning English. I also made lots of friends in the school and some of which are my life-long friends. We have done many school activities together that I could have never thought I would do.
Pera college is a unique, multi-cultural college which will bring you a very exciting experience while studying in Canada. I strongly recommend the college to anybody who intend to study English in a fun and encouraging environment.

O melhor do Pera College são os professores. Eles são preparados e organizados; eu não aguento alguns “professores” que vão na frente da aula e falam qualquer besteira porque são preguiçosos para planejar as suas aulas. Na minha escola anterior era justo assim! No Pera College eles ESTUDARAM para isso, não como outras pessoas que não encontraram outro trabalho na vida e se tornaram professores de inglês porque é a sua língua nativa....

Esta foi a razão pela qual eu mudei ao Pera College. Eu provei uma aula grátis e gostei do método. A escola é pequena, mas para mim isso é uma vantagem porque a atenção é personalizada. Você não é somente um número. Meu curso era focado na comunicação oral e me ajudou a reduzir meu forte sotaque brasileiro finalmente! Isso é muito importante; a pronúncia é tudo na língua inglesa! Agora meus amigos nativos podem entender-me sem ter que repetir duas ou três vezes a mesma coisa.

Na minha opinião, esta escola é para quem realmente quer aprender inglês. Eles têm também workshops e atividades extraescolares todas as semanas. A localização é perfeita, na frente da estação Granville do Skytrain (Downtown Vancouver).

The best thing about Pera College is its teachers. They are prepared and organized; I can’t stand “teachers” that just go in front of the class and talk about any silly thing because they are lazy to plan their classes. My previous schools were just like that!! At Pera College they are EDUCATED teachers; they had studied for that, not like some other people who haven’t found a job and have become an English teacher because it’s their native language.

This was the reason I have changed to Pera College. I tried one lesson for free and liked it. The school is small, but for me this is an advantage because the attention is personalized. You are not just a number. My course was focused on oral communication skills and helped me to reduce my strong Brazilian accent finally! This is very important; pronunciation is everything in English! Now my Anglophone friends can understand me without having to ask me to repeat two or three times.

In my opinion, this school is for those who really want to learn English. There are also free workshops and afterschool activities every week. The location is also great, just in front of Granville Skytrain Station (Downtown Vancouver).

Not Satisfied with Everything!!!

--In a basement with no windows!! Depressing!!
--The manager seems rude and unfriendly. Not approachable and says no to everything
--Teachers are friendly but education is bad
--Not native teacher. I prefer to have Canadian teachers if I am coming to a school in Canada
--Everything is about money
--Refund is impossible to get, class changes are impossible..Everything is a NO everything is "can not do"

Please look for some other school or do not waste your money or time to come to Canada for this school.

I've just been in this class for 2 weeks. So, I don't know about everything of class.
It's different with other classes. Cuz I had enjoyed a class when I was in ESL class. This class is so diffcult to me, but I can learn about skills such as writing, speaking.
I wish I would be better than now.
