Only great things to say about the shop and staff. Never rushed into a purchase. He recommended alternate choices that were not even offered in his store based on my needs. Fair and transparent pricing on what I have bought, quick service on repairs, and has done troubleshooting on my cameras and lenses multiple times. Genuinely passionate about photography. I will always make the drive to Campbell River and recommend others all the time.

The owner of this store is exceptional! I can’t say enough good things about the Photo Tech team. They take time to chat with you about the cameras as well as provide some amazing photo services as well, like passport photos or some fun film photo sessions. I recommend this store to absolutely EVERYONE. Can’t wait for my next visit.

The team at Photo Tech is an absolute asset to our film community on Vancouver island. Always kind and easy to deal with, their wealth of knowledge and genuine support for our community has been invaluable to me as an artist, making it easy and reliable to work with film. Their turn around times are fast and the processing and scans are 100x better than London drugs.

If you live out of Campbell river (like I do) they will also take processing orders by mail, making things seamless and convenient.

I have nothing but good things to say about PhotoTech !!! They are so helpful and so kind! I recently had a tintype portrait done in their studio and it was extremely special to me. Such a keepsake and a very neat experience. 10/10 recommend. I will for sure be coming in to have my family captured too!!

Just bought a new lens from phototech! They even let me put it on my camera and take it for a spin first. It has become my FAVOURITE piece of glass. It’s a used piece and they were careful to ensure quality and satisfaction. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and considerate as I am still in the beginner phase and they gave me so many great tips. I 100% recommend this business and the great welcoming staff.
