Praxis has helped me throughout my high school career with math and science. All the tutors are very friendly and have a lot of patience with their students especially Sunny and Stephen. Sunny has taught me the most during my time at Praxis, as he is able to solve and explain concepts in many different ways so that I could have a better understanding. All the lessons and questions provided are from a range difficulty which really refine your understanding and improves your problem-solving skills. I highly recommend Praxis because they really want to see all their students succeed, and they will try their best to help and provide sound advice.

I was tutored by several of their tutors from Grade 6 until Grade 12 in subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Functions and Calculus. The tutors are very flexible, following your school's curriculum and tailoring their teaching style to fit your needs. Starting by teaching the foundation knowledge, the tutors then build onto more complex problems that allow you to challenge yourself. They provide a safe learning environment that is very individualized. Attending Praxis allowed me complete any tests with confidence and to obtain the marks I needed to get into the Universities of my choice. I attended many tutoring centres throughout elementary and high school but Praxis is the most outstanding for upper-level learning. Sunny and Stephen (both post-grad academics) taught me IB curriculum math and physics, and helped me develop a strong foundation in both subjects. You can tell that the tutors at Praxis genuinely care about their students and want to help them achieve their best. And best of all, the skills I learnt carried well into my post-secondary education and beyond! Being a great teacher is a rare talent, and the instructors definitely possess it. My grandson and grand daughter went to Praxis 6 yrs and they both had Sunny as a tutor. He is very intelligent, thoughtful and attentive to their needs. He also understands that different people learn best through different methods of teaching. He lets them figure out the answers and guides them with very thorough explanations. Now my grandson is very good at math and he is a math tutor!

Excellent tutoring service! My girl is studying in Grade 3 and went through 10 tutorial classes so far before summer break! I love the way they teach, it not only focusing on the mathematics skills and school curriculum, but also training her to work independently by building personal development skills such as time management, analytical and critical thinking skills over time.

Throughout these 10 tutorial classes, I can tell my girl having more confidence in Mathematics questions, paying more attention on each reading questions / instructions, and therefore, she was able to get great marks in return.

I was tutored in math at Praxis for more than 10 years from grade 2 to grade 12 and I can definitely attribute my positive performances in math to the tutoring at Praxis! All of their tutors are knowledgeable in their subjects and are always able to answer any questions you encounter at tutoring or questions that you can bring from school. The tutors at Praxis also make an effort to match the tutoring lessons to topics being covered in your school. At times they may cover units ahead of your school’s lesson plan so you will be more prepared and can easily understand the topics at school when they end up being discussed. Tutoring classes at Praxis give you a lot of practice to understand the material and often have sample tests from previous students in the subject who may have had the same teachers or schools. Students are given a realistic and useful view of what to expect and how to prepare. Thank you for all of the help over the years Praxis!

I joined Praxis in Grade 11 and 12 with Stephen for private tutoring in Math. He was able to tailor the challenging material towards my learning, which really set myself well for school. Praxis has definitely done their research on nearby high schools, providing past tests and tips for their students. All the content has been relevant to what I studied in high school and beneficial in allowing me to score well above 90 in all my math courses. These marks were vital to getting accepted to my preferred university.

Highly recommend Praxis as a go-to tutoring place. I had about five other classmates who also attended and have benefitted from their services. I was tutored in Grade 12 calculus, chemistry, and physics. It not only helped in bettering my understanding of the course material which in turn helped in boosting my marks but also in getting accepted to the university of my choice. I was tutored mainly by Sunny and he is very patient and understanding. I found it helpful that the lessons started with the basic concepts before jumping into the advanced concepts, which is important in learning the actual material. When I got tests back and there were questions i got wrong and did not get how to solve , Sunny took the time to go through it step-by-step again to ensure I understood it. They also provide you with additional questions of ranging difficulties to challenge you and expand your understanding of the course material. Everyone at Praxis has a passion for teaching – they really do care, which provides students with a supportive and welcoming environment to learn and succeed.
