So thankful we took Hesed’s pre-natal class and would highly recommend! It prepared my husband and I well for labour, birth and postpartum. Nikki made the day so enjoyable and comfortable for everyone; she’s passionate about what she teaches and really knowledgeable. I loved the hands-on components and appreciated the ability to ask questions throughout the day. When our birth didn’t go as I had planned/hoped, I was really grateful for what I learned and gained from the class as it covers a lot of areas and potential possibilities that can arise. We ended up having Nikki as our postpartum doula and I couldn’t have gotten through that first week without her. Definitely worth it!

We were recommended to this course by a friend so already expected it would be good, but our experience with Nikki in the pre-natal course surpassed our expectations! I love the emphasis on brain/mind training, and the reframing of the labor sensations as something positive and productive. There were many opportunities for practical exercises too so we could move our bodies and feel ready for the big day. It was a long day, but so worthwhile!

My partner and I took the prenatal class with Hessed Birth 4 weeks before delivery. Nikki was great, very engaging and lots of helpful information, the day flew by. The handbook was super helpful, and a nice reference after a full day of information.

My husband and I attended the prenatal class and I also attended the breastfeeding workshop. Both of them were great and very informative. Nikki was a great teacher and really has a passion for helping parents to be! Would highly recommend taking the prenatal class if you are worried about giving birth and even if you're not! There is definitely lots to learn for both the individual giving birth as well as the partner, and these classes covered it! They help you feel more prepared and provide very practical things to help with labour and postpartum recovery.

My husband and I signed up for the prenatal class and then the virtual breastfeeding class the next week.
Both times, we had Nikki teach the classes and she was amazing!
We absolutely enjoyed the classes and learned a lot. It makes me feel more prepared and comfortable for the next journey ahead and more relaxed/ calm for what is to come. I am a first time mother to be, so learning all this information really helped me mentally and physically. I would definitely recommend the prenatal class to any first time moms out there as well as anyone looking to learn how to coop with labour and birthing.

My husband and I took this course in July 2022 prior to the birth of our first child and found it to be very informative and helped us prepare for the labour and delivery.

The delivery had a lot of ups and downs and I was aware of my options due to this course. It also provided my husband ways to support me before and during the delivery. I highly recommend taking this course!

My husband and I learned so much from Nikki. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions throughout the course. She provided tips on how to manage pain and went over different labour movement and positions. We discussed post-partum and newborn care as well as a comprehensive discussion on breastfeeding and every step of the way Nikki was an empathetic and cheerful guide.
