Excellent private school in our great town. I’ve met students who have graduated from Pretty River Academy over 20 years ago. We moved here 3 years ago and it is our child’s 3rd year at the school. Mrs. Scarrow the kindergarten teacher has been with the school for 20 years and she is an excellent educator and caring/loving human being. Mrs. Anderson is the grade 1 teacher who also has been with the school for almost 20 years, and we are so thrilled for her to teach our child this year because we have heard that she is exceptional. We have a new principle this year Val Turner and she is taking the school to new heights with her strategic planning and direction. This year the school is offering after school care until 5:30pm which is included in the tuition, and there is a variety of co-curricular activities, to name a few, soccer, v-ball, B-ball, x-country, theatre, music, leadership, gardening, turfs up…. The school is open to suggestions for other activities such as martial arts/ self defence, dance, music lessons, etc., and has asked parents to make suggestions, and they are willing to source the specialist teachers to facilitate. The primary and Junior division are taught specialized courses by highly qualified teachers. The kids have so much space to move learn and grow. There is a cafeteria with chef prepared gourmet meals, music room, art room, science room, gymnasium, rock climbing wall, large and small turf, outdoor basketball and multi-sport court. All the educators are passionate and highly qualified. Pretty River Academy is a community that embraces one another and supports each other and there is no other school I rather have my kids at.

Pretty River Academy has been a wonderful school for our family. The teaching staff are all wonderful, and have been incredibly supportive of meeting the individual needs of our children. The school truly fosters a community approach to education. I will continue to happily recommend the school to others.

We couldn't be more happy with PRA and our daughter's experience at the school has been truly incredible. The teacher's are very attentive and caring as well as very knowledgeable. We love the extra curricular offered as well as the additional help offered after school. There are always so many amazing things to do; music, art, field trips. I was inquiring about the school and visited them. I asked about teaching about the brainwashing education regarding changing genders etc there was no clear reply. I then emailed the principal about this and she ignored my messages twice which gave me some indication but not any confirmation. I then emailed and saw the pronouns at the end of an email and that told me everything I needed to know. The education even in private schools are now worsening and it is very sad , especially for these kids. Schools need to let the parents parent and teachers teach academics. I just read one of the above comments about the genders and dishonesty and I am staying far away from this school

Our daughter has had a wonderful experience at PRA. This is her third year at the school and we couldn’t be more grateful. Mia has met amazing students and we’ve made great friendships with many PRA families. She is a happy-go-lucky student who loves participating in many of the school provided extra curricular activities. While Mia struggles academically, the school has supported our family’s need to bring in extra tutoring support and extra aids that help her achieve her best self. Our family adores the PRA team and we’re grateful to be a part of the PRA community and look forward to many more years of flourishing ahead. Wishing your family the same kind of success 🙂

We are getting more and more disappointed with this school. Despite a few external improvements, academic education is getting worse. Generally, good teachers don't work there for more than a year. Very high turnover of teachers. Some teachers

Some teachers had to leave the school because they were forced to inject. And the children were also forced to inject.

The cost of education has risen sharply. Also, we and other parents had a very unpleasant case when the school management deceived us with money. In our opinion, the school management behaved dishonestly in relation to money.

Not all teachers even have a bachelor's degree and a licence. And school management is actively preached by quite radical s.e.x education. In this school, sx education for children cannot be avoided. If you want your kids to change gender, this is a good school for that. The daughter of our friend from this school has now decided to change her gender. Sits on hormones. This school supports gender reassignment.

Children can use iPads and phones without any limitations in school. I personally saw a boy coming out of the class and playing on the iPad instead of learning.

Fantastic high-school program, education tailored to needs of the kids, after school teacher support available every day for all subjects, low student to teacher class sizes ensure dedicated attention, and without doubt some of the best teachers in the country. As a result the kids score top marks on nationwide math contests and science fairs, and get into top universities. Best kept secret in Ontario.

The teachers are great unfortunately the administration and those who run the school deal dishonestly. They speak verbally one arrangement and then pull out the fine print to cheat you out of your money which you have entrusted them in good faith. We would never go back with current board and administration.
