Drove to Prince Rupert to catch the ferry up the inside passage heading to Anchorage. Reserved a cabin and had a blast getting to know all of the wonderful people I met! Several of us got off in Juneau to have a little party and returned to continue our journey to Anchorage. Tons of bald eagles dotted the trees along the way. I also saw tons of wildlife including caribou, moose, dahl sheep, sea otters, and some whales. Some of these were seen after leaving the ferry system, but it was amazing overall!

Heading to Skidegate? Overnight crossing? I would highly recommend gravol and reserving a cabin. It is a relief to get into a cabin and have a somewhat restful sleep. Cafeteria opened on a limited basis -- grab a warm drink as soon as you get on board.
