Took my 10-year-old to The Skating Lab at Chesswood Arena for skate profiling and a session on the skating treadmill—what a fantastic experience! Jeff is an absolute pro when it comes to skate sharpening and profiling. He also helped remold my son’s skate boot for a better fit, and the difference was noticeable right away. My boy had an amazing first session on the treadmill, and the staff made sure he was comfortable and learning the right techniques. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to improve their skating and get their skates dialed in perfectly! We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve been really impressed with the Skating Lab and the quality of the staff and experience. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable, and each treadmill session is personalized and substantive. We don’t just feel as though we’re on a customer conveyor belt (ha ha). A special shout-out to Jake, who has made a real difference for our skaters, including increasing their confidence. Jake and team was amazing ! Jake came to check my son’s stride on the treadmill and noticed an issue with his skates. With his guidance and support we got him in a better boot and are in the process of improving His stride. They were instrumental at helping us.

Super knowledgeable staff, not just with the skating mechanics and techniques (which were spot on) but also with skate sizing and fit for maximum performance. Very friendly and helpful and the kids strides have already improved after 1 session so we bought 12 more. Packages are best value for recognizing long term improvement.
