This is the best chandlery/rigging loft on the Island- at least. If you're looking for tea towels (your boat name here) or the like, then no. But if you need a piece of gear you have to depend on, at a fair price, this is the place. If you need advice or splicing, there is a depth of experience you can 't find anywhere else that I've found.

Absolute best supply store with the best staff I’ve ever encountered. Very knowledgeable and helpful making it a friendly environment. Great stock and will bring in anything that they don’t have in very short order with honest pricing.

Worth a visit just to get the experience. Shop does cater to sport fishers as well as commercial guys. Lots of custom gear and components to assemble your own equipment. Staff are generally helpful though determining how much something costs can be a problem and fluctuate from one day to the next. There is a wealth of experience and know-how within the walls. Check it out.

I have been frequenting this iconic local business more and more over the past couple of years.They have a great mix of commercial and sports fishing gear. I have found all the staff to be helpful, friendly and with no shortage of character. If you need rope of any kind, this is the place. Definitely worth stopping in and having a look or joining the customer round table for a complimentary coffee and BS with some locals.

My husband tried to return a downrigger mold he bought and the handle broke after balls. The owner Tim was so rude and refused to back his product. The rudeness was unbelieveable.
