I called at 10, they squeezed my son in for an appointment at 11:45, sent him for a chest x ray, got results back at 3, called me 15 minutes later and got antibiotics for his pneumonia before 4. Faster than any Emergency room visit I’ve ever made, and such kind and helpful staff. So happy to be a patient here.

I’ve been with ridgeview since I was 8 years old (since 2000).

Had a pretty terrible experience with a doctor whose name I will not mention, for many many years. In recent years after undergoing multiple invasive surgeries it takes weeks to get a mere 10 minute phone consultation.

I’m well aware that the world and status of healthcare is in a crisis but Ridgeview has lost its reputation and lacks in many ways to the residents of Canmore.

Was told by multiple physicians that “continuity” is an issue. Well, ya - when you’re told that your doctor no longer works there and you speak with multiple doctors or whoever is available at their earliest convenience

How is continuity my problem exactly? I was told to find a doctor in Calgary. Essentially shoved away from the clinic that I have been going to since I was a kid, and a local.

Do better, and abide to your oath as doctors and as a medical service.

Great little clinic with lovely, friendly staff. I was visiting from out of town and needed to do a walk-in. Check their website for walk in hours, because the spots fill up fast! Go early to get a number and register, and they'll book a slot for you based on order of arrival. I had a couple hours to kill before my time slot so I took a walk around the area - lots of shopping and a few cafes/restaurants within walking distance. Even though they were so busy, everyone was professional and kind. Dr. Badger helped me, and I felt that she listened to my concern and gave me good care.

I don’t think I’ve ever wrote a bad review online but Ridgeview medical deserves it. I find myself driving to Banff to visit their WalkIn Clinic (which is awesome) just so I don’t have to deal with them. Ever since I lost my family doctor here they have made it extremely difficult for me to access anywhere near the same services. “We can’t do that” seems to be their favourite response.

I have been told to be in the walk in clinic in the morning without any appointment. But next day when I went one of the receptionist asked me that they are not taking patients without appointments. If you guys are not taking patients like that, then why you asked patients to waste time by waking in the clinic. At least giving five minutes to walk in patient is enough I believe, but they just bother only appointments.

This was the worst medical experience I've EVER had! Dr. Emma Morin has ZERO compassion, is non compliant in filling out important govt forms, misdiagnosed me which has now caused me alot of issues, and when asking for a second opinion, basically told me that I didn't trust her and that a second opinion would be useless!!!! She also refused to see me as I am in Calgary (which she knew), and would not have a phone conversation when I was too ill to drive to Canmore!!! Then decided that she didn't want me as a patient..when I told her I was quite frustrated with her "experimenting" with my health. The front desk also lost important forms that were to be forwarded to the CRA. I HAD TO CALL MULTIPLE TIMES TO RESOLVE ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY HAD THEM ALREADY FOR SEVERAL WEEKS!! WHAT A QUACKERY OF A CLINIC!!!!!! Never again!

My family has been going here for years. Lovely staff, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors. A recent problem with scheduling could have been a big problem. But the office manager, front desk staff and doctor all worked together to solve it effortlessly.
