I find it difficult to communicate to the school board. There is very little direct communication, and there seems to be less and less instruction for students every year. There seems to be too Many student days off and less emphasis on teaching any substance. Compared to the 1980s the system seems to be failing and catering to floundering children through the system. There needs to be more accountability, parent access, and a concerted effort to give students an actual prepatory education for the real world. Less student days off and more teaching should be emphasized.

The schools are promoting 'International Lesbian Day' on October 8th on their Facebook page. I'm not sure why this is required at schools and what someone's private sexual preferences have to do with kids.

They would rather make their websites look horrible and not optimal for the students, when there are real problems occurring especially with where the money goes in the schools, the horrible administrations, the QOL in these schools are terrible in contrast to other schools in Calgary etc. They don’t offer enough classes, the websites/ Rocky views end of powerschool does not even work half of the time and don’t even get me started on the school wifi , the way the school accounts are set up are horrible as well. So many ways to make it more efficient and educational, yet they don’t, they would rather focus on changing useless things like their websites which were fully functional and easier to navigate prior to their update. Rocky view needs to start focusing on the things that actually matter. Overall rocky view schools are not good at all and could be way better

Every school is unique in its own way. Staff on an average are very helpful and accommodating depending on the situation. Everyone just needs to be polite and have patience.

They are terrible schools (Meadow brook in particular) and nothing is done to prevent bullying or to stop it when other students are constantly picked on.
