Seems like the course itself is okay but they definitely failed us on a few things. The range was a bit of a ride away and in rough shape. Pace of play was slow and not much was done to improve it throughout the round. We did golf in late October so leaves were expected, but they were an issue on a whole other level on some holes. On one hole we couldn't even see the fairway or make out where the green was. Imagine trying to putt over PILES of leaves. Deciding to golf in the fall is on us, but if we're paying full rates, it has to be better.

The icing on the cake for why I won't go back though is when we were on a par 3 and there was a guy in a machine raking the pond for golf balls right in front of the pin in front of the green. Totally oblivious to the fact that we were hitting. No efforts were made to move or apologize, just a comment about how it's okay if we hit him because he was protected. No dude, your bosses shouldn't have told you to do that on a Saturday. Do that when you know it's slow or after the last group has been through. Unreal.

Guy in the Pro shop was nice, starter was nice, so nice people are there, just had a bad day on the course.

Great track, call ahead to see if there’s a senior league playing because they are slow and you will wait every hole during morning play. My round was 4 1/2 hours and had zero rhythm due to slow play.

Course was great shape. Greens 5 out of 5. Fairways 5 out of 5. Tee boxes 3 out of 5. Pace of play 0. Worst pace of play I’ve ever experienced on a golf course. Marshall came by twice and did nothing. Starter and pro shop staff were very pleasant.

Great course always in my shape and staff are super friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend this course if you want to challenge your game and enjoy great grounds.

Update 2023 - pace of play is getting better but do expect to wait 2-5 minutes on tee box on weekends. Fairways are hard and patchy. Tee boxes are not maintained well and there is uneven lie. Bunks are soft but large pebbles and small rocks exist. Priced fairly.

2022 - A bit dry in some areas, tee boxes not maintained and greens don't roll consistently. Very slow, expect 4.5-5 hours on weekend. Overall good layout and value for money.

The course is actually nice, challenging and in pretty good shape. However, the pace of play is atrocious. I had to wait on every tee and fairway anywhere from 4 to 8 minutes between holes/shots.

Marshall didn't do anything and they let walk ons on between prebooked groups. If you want to golf at a decent public course and spend 5 to 6 hours on it, then this course checks those boxes.
