Today we picked up our car from Superior auto body who repaired our car
after it was rear-ended. The work they done was second to none! Our car looked like new. We cannot say enough about Chris and his team. They even cleaned the car inside and out! Take them way too long to do simple basic work like painting a door. I’ve been waiting months to get one door painted which would take less than a day, SAC claims they need 3 days, and that they have to replace the whole door and paint it? Talk about trying to take advantage of dealerships and insurance companies! I left a poor review of their work so far, just to quickly within a day or two get a rude call from Andre saying I’ll have to go elsewhere because of my review, hey no problem. I live in Toronto and clearly dealing with SAC in Sudbury is a waste of my money and time. I do not recommend.

I have had a relatively poor experience with S.A.C. Group. They claim to do everything right, and to care about their customers, yet in my experience when it takes 3 days to replace/paint a door I am left scratching my head because it is one panel and a couple screws, may a few clips on the handle and electronics. It is very simple work auto body repair in my opinion. It's like LEGO's for adults.

I have had entire vehicles painted at cost, I have had bondo and other work both done by others and by my own two hands. There is no justification in my opinion for taking 3 days to repair the little rust and corrosion you see in the picture. Apparently older VWs are notorious for corrosion which is why they have a 12 year warranty. However, if I had the space and tools, this would be an easy one day job for me. For experience auto-body "specialists" - 3 days. Quality of work would be the same from what they did with my liftgate which was also covered under warranty.

Anyway, I live in Toronto now, I really don't like Sudbury and haven't for a long time now. Regardless, driving 4 hours North, from North York, Toronto, to be told that this would take 3 days is pretty infuriating. I need to be on set tomorrow.

Instead of being respectful, and understanding, and apologetic, they smiled, laughed, acted like it's a complex job that takes more time than it should in my opinion, and ultimately insulted me by laughing and when asked "I'm sorry do you think this is funny" the secretary I confronted on her laughter of all people retorted "well you're not being real". Why? Because I have knowledge and experience and could do this in a day myself, yet the so-called prod need 3 days? For one door?! The only reason I haven't done the work myself is because it is covered under warranty and I thought I would be saving myself some costs.

Nope, not with Sudbury and S.A.C. Group.

Because of the length of time this has taken, and the costs associated with booking there, the rude and offensive demeanor of the staff as well as it taking about a year to get the date booked around our schedules I truly hate to admit that I have a very bitter taste in my mouth. I rebooked today, again, to December 2025 so that I can capitalize in the summer in my field. When asked to booked in December they have the nerve to mention that the claim may expire, despite the fact that they already have a new door, and the exact paint color. They haven't painted it, and would rather wait to have on the car before doing any work or prep and it's seems like they appear overbooked on a regular basis..

After my horrible experience I will not be going back after this fulfillment I don't think. We'll see what they do in December with this job, maybe I'll post an update, yet Sudbury is Sudbury and it is what it is. I recommend Joes Auto Body on Notre Dame.

I do not recommend S.A.C. Group at this time.

Very happy with the work done from Superior. I had to get my front bumper replaced, they were quick with responding and order the parts for my car. They also cleaned my car before I picked it up. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get repairs 😊
