Save On Foods stands out for me as one of my top three places for fresh, high quality produce. They also carry a wide variety of brand name and house brand's, a deli, a bakery, a pharmacy and grocery items I can't find anywhere else in town.

Why are groceries so expensive everywhere? When I came here 3 years ago it was bad but now the same shopping trip is more than double the original cost.. this doesn’t match inflation rates one bit. Someone’s lining their pockets nicely. Rich get richer and all that?

The scene at your Save-on-Foods on 1.50 days was a masterclass in deceptive advertising, straight out of a greasy used car lot. We piled the kids into the car at the crack of dawn, lured by the siren song of $1.50 bacon and budget-friendly garlic bread. Imagine our outrage when we were met by a pathetic display – a mere handful of dusty, dented bacon packages, barely enough to cover a single BLT, let alone feed a hungry family. The garlic bread selection was a joke, a few lonely loaves mocking our empty grocery bags. This wasn't a sale, it was a bait-and-switch scam designed to yank us through the doors with fake promises. It's a slap in the face to loyal customers like us, a cynical manipulation of our trust for a cheap marketing ploy. We deserve better than this greasy car salesman routine, Save-on-Foods.

I think it is a pretty standard save on foods. Anytime I've had to ask the staff for directions, or if they have an item. They always seem like they know what's going on, and what's in stock and where it is.

The store appeared to be clean. Everything I was looking for was in stock. The fresh bakery buns are amazing. The one thing I did have an issue with was that a staff member followed me and a friend around as if we were shoplifting. This doesn't happen to me when I'm alone. My friend is First Nations, so obviously the store has a racially biased idea of what a shoplifters appearance is. Skin color does NOT equal theft.

Absolutely worst place ever my four year old crying needing a bathroom wouldn't give us the key refused to help us sent us to back of store and out of service I just spent my weekly pay here not to mention i travel all over just to do my shops at save on for groceries and wouldn't help a four year old out nasty people. She just pointed I don't know and continued helping someone buying smokes I am beyond grossed out by all the employees at the tills/ front desk/ manger would not help our poor little daughter .
