Nice course, they have both a halfway hut and a cart girl. Open to anyone. New push cart rentals available as well as gas powered carts. Tons of wildlife. Some greens are challenging and some open wide fairways. New seeding machine being used to increase fairway grass patch repair. Great place to hold tournaments and club house has great food also!

Played nine holes in late august. I must say this might have been the most beautiful and fun courses that Ive played in manitoba and let me tell you, Ive played in PLENTY of courses in my time of golf. stopped at the half way hut at the end of my game and was met by a very wonderful and kind young lady. I think her name way lotus. I must say top tier service and will definitely be coming back.

Only one handicap parking stall
stall. There were at least 5 people in the club house for lunch could have used handicap parking. Parking itself was very poor. I had to drop off my guest who used a walker at the front door and then park 2 blocks away.
Another guest had to send her soup back because it was cold. Par 3 lunch was very good as well as the chicken and cheesecake.

Fairways were dead full of weeds and dry, rock hard. Paid full green fees (same as high priced well maintained course). Thought our cart was going to die the whole time ran super rough.. pin placements were insane never had as many three or four putts in my entire 20 years of golfing. I won’t be spending a dime on that course again. Crazy thing is they are right beside a river no excuses for not watering!

I started golfing June of 24, since that day I have come here 3 times total. In 3 of those times, only 1 time I could say outside of the golf my experience was enjoyable.

Before I go into my experience, I just want to note the course has always been in great condition which is not the reason for my review.

My problems with this place always seem to come back to the pro-shop. I the first time chalked it up to me being socially awkward and being too friendly as I have extreme manners when I’m nervous and maybe rubbed the pro-shop guy the wrong way because just in the small conversation during paying I felt like I had done something wrong based on his tone and the way he talked to me. This was June 24,

Went back April or May of this year, one of the best experiences I could have had, pro-shop guy was warm and welcoming, super friendly and inviting which set me off on a good path for my golf day.

Now to my birthday, June 26th. I book on the 24th as I managed to get the day off. Look at tee times and see there is a 11:07am tee time which would be perfect because I can golf and get home before my family does. When I book, I had the option to book up to 4 people in the time slot, I was debating doing this to ensure a solo round like many do but decided to be honest, book for 1 and write asking to play solo for my birthday if possible. When I arrive, AFTER I pay I get told that I’m paired with 2, not the biggest issue but would have been nice to know before paying since I asked in the clubhouse notes for solo. I go to my cart and my cart doesn’t accelerate properly, ask for a different one and get it, and going to get my clubs I notice a father drop his 2 sons under age 13 off and are the only ones waiting near the box aside from people already teeing off. So I decide to get a refund. When getting the refund I asked the pro-shop guy who’s the same one who took my money, “why with not many people waiting to go I couldn’t play alone?” To which the pro-shop guy blatantly lied to me and tried to gaslight me by saying “you booked on a spot with 2 people already” to which I replied “that’s not true because I could book for 4 which I was going to do but chose to not do and be honest” at which the pro-shop guy gave me my money back but would not look up at me. After this I called a another golf course, explained the situation and booked me in solo on a busy day to which I did not effect the flow at all.

2/3 times the pro-shop has ruined the experience before even teeing off which is sad because this is a beautiful and well taken care of course but probably won’t be coming back which is sad because I live 8 minutes from it.
