The staff go above and beyond and in a world where drowning accidents still flood news outlets - swim lessons are vital. Thank you to everyone at Shendy's from instructors, to front desk staff, to the director, & all of the other background, but nonetheless essential, players that make up their excellent team.

I did both my Lifeguarding and Swim instructors course at Shendy’s with George. The courses were both so much fun and very interactive. George was amazing instructor, and constantly made sure that everyone was on the path to success. I had a great time!

My son has attended Shendy's for several of his swim leadership courses and just received his lifeguard certification. Shendy's is extremely organized, very thorough and informative, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We tried one of the city courses on a one-off basis and it was a disaster. If your kid wants to take leadership swim courses, go to Shendy's!

Not a good experience with shendys swim school. Instructor was always watching other Instructor/children instead of focusing on my child. Supervisor was very rude and person sitting at reception was unwelcoming. He did not acknowledge anyone and barley lifted his head up. So disappointed.

My kids have been with Shendy’s school for 4+ years. They’re better at swimming than me now. I highly recommend them.

I went to Shendy's Swim School not to learn how to swim but to obtain my National Lifesaving Qualifications (NLS) to become a lifeguard. Overall, I had the most fantastic experience. I had gotten my other lifeguarding qualifications (Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross) at different locations, both of which were mediocre experiences, but nothing compared to the time I had while at Shendy's. At the NLS course, I was first introduced to Michael Budd, our instructor for the two weekends we'd be taking this crash course. Michael was friendly, understanding, and a really fun guy to be around. I believe can say on behalf my fellow course-takers that we all loved Michael. His way of teaching was effective and efficient, and he clearly enjoys doing it, which is especially important. Obviously Michael's teaching methods were successful, as very single one of us came out of the course with a pass! Aside from our instructor, the friends I made during my NLS course are ones I hope I will never forget. Due to the fact that we spent more than 40 hours together over the course of two weekends, we bonded immediately, working together well in teams and creating so many memories. Those two weekends at Shendy's will surely be a time in my life I will never forget.

This is our first year at Shendy's, & we love it. My children are excited to go every week. More importantly, my kids are gaining confidence in the water while having fun. The team has been especially kind & creative with our special needs kiddo.
