Shirley is more than just a dance instructor, she treats you like you are apart of her family. She is truly a remarkable person, especially since all she wants is for you to feel comfortable and having fun while dancing. Highly recommend - especially for a wedding.

When we came to Shirley for our wedding dance, we both had two left feet. My goal was to learn how to sway nicely together, but Shirley had bigger plans for us. Within 1.5 months she had a whole routine for us and it looked FANTASTIC. Not only did our first dance look beautiful and keep guests entertained, the dance lessons gave us an excuse to be together for an hour at a time dancing together which was really special. Shirley was the absolute sweetest and we can’t wait to surprise her with a video of our first dance!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Shirley. She is the most passionate woman that went above and beyond for my husband and I. She put in countless hours to make sure we were perfect for our wedding day. She is kind and always willing to help and guide you through your lesson. She is hilarious and made coming to see her a true joy. We will miss seeing her weekly and recommend that EVERYONE goes to see her to learn a special wedding dance or even dance in general (what a cute date idea!!).

Shirley’s Dance Studio

We had Shirley teach us how to Fox Trot for our first dance! We are not dancers by any means but she made us look pretty amazing! She made the dance romantic and playful with a couple of crowd pleasing bits, our guests were cheering us on the whole way through! The price is definitely right and it was very therapeutic to go out and dance a couple times a week with your honey. We actually will continue to take dance lessons as a fun date night from now on!

We took private lessons with Shirley in anticipation of our upcoming wedding. We let Shirley know our wedding song and she came up with full choreography for the entire song for us. She was very patient and helped ease our nerves as we had never danced before. She made the whole experience so fun and enjoyable. The location has four separate spaces to dance and lots of parking available. We are so excited with our final product and can't wait to show it off to our family. Thank you so much Shirley for making us look beautiful together for our wedding day!

Friendly staff, great instructors with lots of experience, nice facilities with good mirror walls and dance floors. Good for rentals for smaller dance events.
