Bryce, from Shockwaves-Paddle and First Aid, recently certified the Parry Sound unit of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary in Basic Marine First Aid and Basic Life Support.. Personally, it was my 3rd certification by Bryce and first for the unit. The course was excellent! In addition to well run classroom learning, Bryce made full use of the operating environment on board our Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel, creating very realistic first aid scenarios for the participants. The unit gained new first aid skills and the confidence to face challenging situations in our equally challenging marine operating environment.

Bryce was super engaging throughout his 2 day wilderness first aid course. Even going above and beyond to show us how to build emergency stretchers in his spare time in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs first aid training.

Bryce is a great instructor, I have used st John's in the past but it came across very dry. Bryce keeps things fun and very informative. Bravo great job highly recommend

Bryce is a great instructor. He is highly knowledgeable and easy going. A great balance of lecture and hands on teaching. I did my wilderness first aid with him and would definitely recommend him!!

I have taken several kayak trips with Shockwaves over the last few years; Georgian Bay, Pickerel River, Lake Nipissing, Trout Lake to name but a few. Bryce always supplies a well planned route and helpful tips that improve my skills and enjoyment of the journey. Highly recommended!

Bryce is an excellent instructor. He taught myself and my colleagues a Wilderness First Aid course in October and a Bear Awareness course today. I feel very prepared and informed and it was also very fun. Thanks Bryce!
