This was my first time booking with Silver Scissors and with Moe. I booked the night before for 9:30 AM and was told that he should arrive shortly when I arrived at 9:20 AM. I waited until 9:45 AM, and he didn't show up. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it. Why make a reservation when the barber doesn't show up? It's a terrible way to do business.

Edit: I wanted to edit due to the inaccuracies of the reply from Sam.

Sam you greeted me when I entered the shop and I explained I had a reservation with Moe for 9:30AM and you said he would be a few minutes or go with an additional barber. I reserved with Moe for a reason thus the reservation. I waited 25 min until 9:45AM and Moe didn't arrive. I never got verbal or mad with your staff. I said to the lady barber I would like to cancel my reservation and I walked out.

However, your reply to my review should of been, exactly what you said over the phone:

" Apologizing for the error and offered free service to make up for the error like you did over the phone"

This would of been the professional way to reply.

However, you decide to reply with discourse and miss-information about what transpired. Its the people business Sam and there's good service and bad. I did find a barber down the road that helped me out later that day. I've also added a screen shot of my 9:30AM appointment with Moe and not the 10AM which you claim. Do better bro, its jus business, I've done various reviews on this platform good and bad.

Got a sick mullet here this weekend, Joe hooked me up. One of the best haircuts i’ve had for a very long time! Monty also cut my buddies hair and we are both super happy with the results. If you go here try and get your hair cut by Joe or Monty.

Barber Joe cut my son’s hair and it was everything we asked for and more! My son is definitely self conscious about his shorter hair but is definitely happy with the outcome! Will definitely be returning! Also, the service at the shop was accommodating and impeccable!

Great service, very friendly and accommodating for all ages. Great with kids my son loves the drinks and suckers, along with his great haircut. I have had a lot of the services they offer here and the shave and haircuts are top quality. Very fair pricing and would recommend “Sam”some call him “JR”
He learned everything he knows from his wonderful father MOE who is the best barber in town!!

All the staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. But above all they’re highly skilled at cutting and styling. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone that cares about getting a good hair cut. A fella named Joe cut my hair and he was very competent and fun to talk to. He gave good advice on styling, what types of products I should use for my hair type and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years.

Paige is the best 💯 She is always so smiley and happy!!! My boys are always super happy with their haircuts and they are 11 and 14. They only want Miss Paige to cut their hair! I love when she washes my hair and blow dries it for me!!! Thank you for being so awesome Paige and accommodating!!

Have never been really happy with my current barber in Calgary, thought I would give these people a try. Very Very impressed and happy with their service, excellent results, the lady in the first chair did my hair, very friendly and really knew her stuff. Couldnt be more happy, will certainly be back!!
