I am currently a student at this school and have absolutely no chance of getting the education that I deserve they are completely understaffed and nobody seems to care enough to do anything now this is supposed to be an alternative school I find most students there are trying to do Adult grad or like me trying to graduate while working two full time jobs to get by so they should have classes available for students that can only attend certain days of the week the English teacher was the only one that actually helped me but since she left they only hired a part time replacement who works three days a week the two days a week that I attend the library is locked and closed there is not a fair student teacher ratio leaving students frustrated and after trying to meet and voice my conversation that I am not getting a fair education they yelled at me to be paitent with them they are trying thier best …so am I every child should have a fair chance to get an education and they are not allowing that here it’s just a hangout for cracked out teens

I've gotten alot of help doing my academics and had a great time. I'm very fortunate to have met these teachers

For me it was ok except when doing my English provincial most students did not show up so the teachers made us wait 15 mins after start time. Then ended the test right on time. Not fair and that cost me in that test alot. I could've got an A but I ended with a permanent C+. 15 mins is alot of time to cut from a provincial exam for other ppls absences! Also I was a little short on my math, needing to take summer school to catch up . I was a single working mother working my butt off and they wouldn't let me grad with my peers due to others the year before not fulfilling their own requirements. Well everyone's different, I only needed half of math! Not 3 subjects or what have you! And they SHOULD have told me this way before Grad so I could've tried atleast!! This was many many yrs ago and in Continuing Ed for adults but it affects me to this day. It was like I didn't matter.
My daughter goes to Alt ed for teens now. I feel it's just a place to put kids that cant be in Reg school population but still not disciplined enough to care if they do anything with their life direction or not. This school is here for a reason but needs to have much stricter rules and guidelines. The Alt Ed program has been restructured for the better this year but I think perhaps more could b done. Alot of the staff however are very good and nice. They do deal with alot. I'm just speaking about my experience with the schools as a whole. I know there's only so much u can do with stubborn teens etc but up the Antes. Maybe make it more fun or go on adventures ie;field trips (short and long) etc. Bring in a good reward system as well as way better discipline. How about some healthy debates or contests?! This school shouldn't just b a hangout for teens! Cmon.

if you need, then I guess you need to go, but the English teacher at night time wasn't very great! I felt that he doesn't know what he has to do, and changes his answer so easily. for example, one day I asked him to give back my homework, and his answer was "why don't you go find and help yourself" so I did.
and the next week, when I just go and open the cabinet for getting back my homework, he said "Oh, lady you can't open that, you are giving me a trouble"
I was very confused, and he often didn't mark my homework over a week, and his hand writing was hard to read for me too.
I decided to study from different place.

The butterface who is in charge or was in charge I hope is a judgemental person. Homophobic and even racist beside that it's a good school.
