I enrolled my two kids in the summer camp. I was impressed by the staff's warmth and professionalism. They showed great skill in interacting with the children. The kids were particularly drawn to the owner, Brent, who shared engaging stories. My children visited various skateparks and enjoyed the cold water and popsicles provided during the hot weather. A trip to the waterpark was also organized to help them cool off. My kids loved every moment of it.

We started taking our child here for the lessons on the weekends, she loved it. The instructors are fun, friendly, and truly care about the kids improving their skills in a safe and fun environment.

This place is fantastic! My son was an absolute beginner and just finished their full week camp. He has had so much fun and already wanted to continue skateboarding after the camp. After the first day of camp, he always looked forward to the next day of camp and screamed so loud “I am so excited!!” 5 times before we arrived to the camp.

I’m very impressed with the staff here. All of them are so patient, caring, loving, supportive and paying lots of attention to the kids. I remember the end of the first day, 3 staff came to me and told me how my son had been feeling, what he had learnt and how was his progress. I was so impress with the details they had provided about his feeling and progress.

Zoe, my son’s instructor, have been so protective, supportive and patient while teaching my son. Her patience and support have given my son lots of confidence at skateboarding. She always gives high-five and fist bump to my son at every little milestone. My son loves to learn skateboarding with her and I can see how much trust and confidence he has while showing us his new tricks under Zoe’s protection. Now he knows how to get on the board, push the board, turn, ride on a shallow ramp only in a 4 day camp! I was very impressed with the progress.

Michaela, one of the instructors and office staff, has been very caring and helpful! At the first day she helped us settle down and introduced us about the place and the camp. At first, my son was not so sure and didn’t want to step out of home and cried at the camp. I had to move my car so I step out of SkateLoft, left him at the place. When I came back, Michaela sat down with him and comfort him. My son was not crying any more under her comfort. Before I left, she even took him out to the rink and skateboard with him a bit for fun. He showed his smile. At that point, I felt secure and sure that he would have so fun.

At the end of every day, there was always at least 2 staff come to me and told me about my son. I loved it! That means how much attention the staff has paid to the students!

Last but not the least, my son has learned so much and had so much fun. We are signing up for another week! That’s how much he loves it now.

Thanks SkateLoft for giving him so much fun, care, support and confidence in this sport! I am very glad that I have found this place and my son has found an outdoor activity he loves! I certainly think that skateboarding is one of the cool-kid sports!

Took my 6 and 11 year old for their first lesson. Great experience. The instructors were engaged and continued to give positive feedback. I expected to have the kids do the 60 minute lesson, and then hang around for another 30 minutes after the lesson. I had to drag my 6 year old away after 3 hours.

Had a birthday party here for my son's seventh birthday. It was great! There were 8 kids, they got a 1 hour lesson on skateboards. Then they were free for an hour to skate on their own. Skate Loft supplied all the safety equipment and skateboards.

Every kid had a great time. None of the kids had ever been on a skateboard before and after the lesson they had built confidence and were able to skate around on their own.

I highly recommend this for a kid's birthday party for any sporty or active kids.

The staff are epic and helpful they are great with the little guys during every aspect of skateboarding not just during the training sessions. Constant positive reinforcement via high fives and "well done little dude" they take the time to learn all the names of the kids.. I've been bringing my 9 year old out from Oshawa every Saturday for about a month now and see no signs of stopping.
