I have always appreciated Sobeys for its feel good environment. Although some of the prices are a bit more, the cleanliness and vast variety of product is worth shopping here.

Constantly checking prices, today was like some other days in the past.
Lettuce advertised $2.49 ea but came up at $3.50 ea. The young man corrected the price and said sorry. Sorry is easy to say. After a while this becomes annoying to have to check all the time.

Store has great selection of products, even locally grown vegetables during summer and fall months. However I am very disappointed in there Covid-19 precautions. NONE of their cashiers, deli personal and bakery personal were wearing any masks. And I stood to see if they were sanitizing their hands and tills between customers and 98% were not (only saw one worker sanitize her hands). DEFINITELY bring your hand sanitizer when visiting.

Today I was on crutches so used your scooter to get around, it was quite fun:). The young man at the service desk took my crutches for me and propped them behind the counter. He was very friendly (Kaden). When I returned he saw me in line and brought my crutches right out for me. He also was very knowledgeable and told me how to go about getting the show tickets there. It all went great. Glad the whole shopping experience went so well, was a bit apprehensive shopping on crutches.

Such a lovely store, with wonderful staff! Just like everywhere else, prices have gone up, so it makes it harder. We used to do all of our shopping here, but now have to go where the deals are. 😭

Just a note...these sheets are a poor purchase...very thin, are not deep pocket, and have black felt pen marks on them. I was told by a lady in charge of tills they can not be returned. Lesson learned...food stores should not be selling sheets👎
