First off, I just wanted to thank you for the girl with glasses at the till # 4 I think with the guy who’s the cashier today who helped me pack my groceries but you have pissed off a mother. Ever since I moved in Rocky County, I go to strathmore to get everything in one. I love how Walmart is right beside it and can go to this store for good produce and always had a great experience but not until today you ruined it for me. I really didn’t want to make a big deal out of this.You really pissed off a mother who’s struggling with a sinus infection with 2 sick children. My toddler is in the phase of discovering his big emotions but you had to tell me “don’t do that” and repeatedly saying “next time just dont do that” instead of “let’s scan it for you first to get it out of your way then you can give him a banana”. I am FULLY aware it scans by weight. I’ll grab more bananas for you to scan it and pay for how many bananas to replace what my son ate if I have to. It’s either a damn banana or the biggest tantrum in your store. I’m sure you are just doing your job but be polite when you approach someone. You never what they’re going through. I feel very humiliated when you said that while my son started crying for a banana.

I normally do not write reviews, but Steven in the meat department goes above and beyond and honestly I truly love seeing the smile on his face and talking to him makes you want to smile as well even if you are having a bad day. I have had the pleasure of dealing with him a couple of times and he truly makes my day. He also takes the time to listen and understand what i was looking for and ensures I am pleased with what I get. He also makes you feel very welcomed. Keep up the great work Steven and keep smiling!!!

2021 and 2023 review below. 2021 - I ordered my cake days in advance asked for specifics based on the form the employee and I filled out. Low and behold nothing, well only the sprinkles were done as I asked. A family
Member asked why do you expect any different as the previous years I ordered cakes here it was never done as I asked based on the stores cake form. Maybe they don’t read the request and only do what they want.
I gave it a two because the cake itself tastes good but the decorations are never what is requested. I don’t have high hopes but maybe the cake person could start reading the form and decorating as requested.

Disappointed Again
2023 tried again and disappointed again. I can’t believe I paid 25.99 for a 6x 10inch cake and the decorating is horrible. Check out the pics which I did take outside the store. The lady at the cash was nice but the shift supervisor didn’t even offer a 10% discount. I cannot believe the service here and lack of cake decorating skills. He

I had the absolute worst experience with the bakery department today. I ordered a cake for my sons birthday, and I'm extremely disappointed with the cake that we received. There was zero effort put into it, even when we ordered the cake, every suggestion we had they would put us on hold and then tell us that they couldnt do it. We suggested pokemon or a pickachu and they told us they couldn't draw it, even a dinosaur.. okay that's fine. They couldn't even put a balloon on the cake!! Or sprinkles! We told them it was for a little boys birthday.. and they overall put zero effort into this cake!! I've never been so disappointed in my life! And the worst part is I had to pay for it because it's for his class party. And then to make this experience even worse our cashier was so rude when we paid for the cake!! I will never be coming back here again! I can't believe I trusted this place with our sons cake. Worst experience ever!

The staff are always very friendly and super helpful! They go above and beyond to help you, which is hard to find now! I love coming here! ♥️

Good selection, decent prices. The produce is fresh. The bakery is just ok, but I'm not a fan of Sobeys/Safeway bakeries in general. The prices are almost always correct on the computer, and I don't have to watch the screen like a hawk. Overall, great job!
