Soy free options. They use canola oil instead of vegetable oil. Dog friendly patio. Natalie was very welcoming and answered all of our questions. Food was terrific. Atmosphere was perfect. A very welcoming place.

Showed up for a drink and dinner (date night). We both ordered Prime Rib Poutine, the server politely advised they didnt have primerib the day before and he would check to see if it was in for today. It was not...

So A Jerk Chicken dish was ordered.... Not In stock....

They don't have a big menu which I usually don't mind BUT it was getting silly...

I decided to order a Quesadilla, no pico (Can't stand salentro)... It showed up with ALOT of PICO and the cheese wasnt even melted (See Pic) LOL.

To add to it, by the time I had eaten half of it, the remaining two quarters were so soggy from all the pico, I couldn't pick it up.

It made for a funny night because it was such a disaster. We had a Good Laugh! That said I would not go there for food!

The Miller Lite was nice and cold... so theres that. And the guy who was serving us, tall kid who name started with an S, very nice and polite.

Wednesday wing special eat in or take out can't be beat anywhere in the city. 9.25 per pound plus homemade sauces or rubs to choose from. Service is great, beautiful interior, good portion sizes, other menu items and dinner entrees are also good. Highly recommend, satisfied each and every time.

I had my baby shower here. My partner and I did a co-ed shower. It was great, we were able to decorate the area that was closed off for our party and have a buffet for about 70 guests, including kids. Guest who wanted to grab a beer had access to the bar to purchase a drink separately or check out the game playing on the TVs in the dinning area/bar.

The staff were great and flexible with us. Lots of parking. Our guests seemed to enjoy the venue. We had access to a TV to play a game on a power point presentation. Everything turned out better than expected.

We visited this restaurant and found it to have a very large parking lot, making it easy to find a spot. The space feels a bit dated, but it still gave us a good vibe. The dishes had very good quality. The only somewhat negative experience we had was when one of our friends, who is over thirty, was asked by the staff to show his ID. We understood that it’s the law to show ID, but it made us uncomfortable. However, the manager kindly explained the rules to reassure us.

Pre-ordered the Thanksgiving dinner for 8 with a reservation. Arrived and they informed us they were low on turkey and had no record of our order. Good thing we preordered, right? Wrong. But we were assured we would get our food. After 45 minutes, our food arrived.
Undercooked vegetables that would have been best served with ranch, cold and stale stuffing, and much less than the advertised 6oz of turkey. Short on gravy, cold coffee. When we brought the cold coffee and undercooked vegetables to their attention (after 10 minutes of waiting for more gravy, which we finally got after being told ‘this is all the kitchen has left’ just minutes before the table behind us got enough gravy for the whole township), we were asked “do you want more carrots?” Why would I want more of your crap veggies?
Let’s not talk about how long it took to get the bill, and then how our waitress vanished into a portal. Had to pay the bill at the hostess station.
Overall, it was 105 minutes for 1 plate of food. All else was underwhelming.
Potatoes were good though.

Came for a nice dinner with some colleagues. Food was good, especially the Bang Bang Shrimp and came out in a good amount of time. The service was also the best I have had in a while. Isabel was our waiter for the day and did a fantastic job. She was very respectful to my colleagues and I and also provided us with service that sadly isn't at many other restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend this for a nice casual outing with friends.

We recently dined at Southcote 53 Tap and Grill and overall had a good experience.

We sampled several dishes, from the Caesar salad to the Chicken + Brie melt, and found them all to have an acceptable taste.
However, our experience with ordering drinks was a bit odd.

Despite one of us clearly being over 30 years old, the waitress asked for ID.

While we understand and respect the rules, this did make us feel a bit uncomfortable and like we didn't receive the full hospitality we expected.

The manager did come over and explain the policy, which we appreciated, but it didn't change our initial impression.

Despite this, we would still recommend Southcote 53 Tap and Grill if you're in the area and looking for good food.
