The location was very convenient but regardless of that, it was very unfortunate that we got pulled over and got examined very throughly. Officer was friendly enough but in general, inspection stations are rather unfortunate

This particular weigh station is simply amazing!
We went through the scale and was told to show papers!
We almost got a $300 ticket for being overweight.
I recomend going through if you are pulling a trailer, who knows what could happen

Very nice officers.... With the inherent dangers they deal with Give them a break, not attitude. Cooperation on our part begins with us. 9 X's outta 10.... things go smoothly. If not roll with it, do as instructed believe it or not Safety is priority.

If you out of BC: watch out, they will find something to get you.
I was put out of service, because one tire on my dual two axles truck had 33psi, did I mention I was pulling empty flat deck.
It took 4 hrs before Kal Tire from Sparwood came and fixed. No Alberta company wants to come to this scale, because harassment: they and their equipment are checked before they can help you.

Why would I like it ?
Because there is an outhouse ? Every that a truck has to pull into 1 of these places ... it's a waste of time for the trucker and a cash gran for the government

Towing with a camper trailer for the for the first time, decided to check the weight. The staff was really helpful and went through all the data with me to explain what it meant. He even suggested ways to improve weight distribution of the SUV and trailer and gave some good safety advise. I wasn't sure what to expect and was very surprised at their friendly postive attudide.

A very unsafe traffic oriented situation around this scale. Truck traffic mandated left turns across on coming summer traffic and winter conditions. A very short unsafe merge lanes back into summer traffic and in winter conditions! Scale staff focused on writing tickets, Not on unsafe traffic conditions outside their window!
