I was referred to this clinic as I was deeply depressed. I had told my male therapist that they assigned me that the biggest reason for my depression was the fact that I had gained a lot of weight, and it had completely shattered my self-esteem. His response was "Oh yea, even from 6 months ago when I last saw you, I can definitely tell." I have not been able to get those words out of my head for months. Also he just kept repeating that my depression will go away if I work out and eat fruits and veggies. The place all around is unprofessional, and the therapists know next to nothing and are extremely unempathetic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

My son has been waiting for 6 weeks for a social worker from this clinic to e mail a list of Edmonton Psychiatrists to his psychologist in Stony Plain. He has called to remind her twice. It still remains undone. He has now seen a Psychatrist there that was totally not interested in helping him at all. Someone needs to be in charge here as it is clear this clinic is none-functional.

So went to get my injection today. Apparently my psychiatrist didn't renew my prescription and there was a whole run around. Didnt end up getting it, though I am supposed to tomorrow. Along with the run around a random girl with long black greasy hair was giving me dirty looks in the office- paced back and forth, checking me, acting absolutely nasty. I've been treated poorly in this place for a while with them threatening to "switch" me. I took down my last review with Dr Imo about him arguing that an inability to think means the meds are working cause I didn't want anymore problems with them. As I'm on a cto and forced to go here. Didn't matter though cause I'm still treated poorly, so I've had enough. The lady accepting phone calls at the desk is nicer than the rest but my therapist snorts at me while I'm talking about my life over the phone, Dr imo argues poor points and doesn't believe anything that doesn't suit his side of the story. Not only that last time I went the nurse (brenda) who gave my injection was horrible. She left the needle in my hip to go get paper towel from the dispenser with my jeans pressing on the needle. She then used the paper towel to press on where it was injected instead of using a sanitary cotton ball. She kept pushing me towards the chair she told me to stand by as well. I'm not surprised by the other negative reviews this place is horrible.

Horrible. Always cancelling appointments last minute or running late. Teenager who already doesn’t feel like anyone cares about her and to have her councillor miss appointments made so far in advance, yeah, not very helpful! Skip this place and go somewhere else, you’ll be thankful and so will your child! Unfortunate how our province talks so much about mental health but then can’t seem to follow through on any of it.

This place is a joke and makes me realize how little Alberta Health Services cares about Mental Health. I have been waiting since March 2017 to get in for an assessment. I have seen a therapist there twice now once in March and once in October both times Brenda has promised to get me in for an assessment. I have called and left numerous voicemails and cannot get anyone here to return my calls. Very unprofessional.
