Our beloved Pastor Darcy nourishes our faith each Sunday with his absolutely amazing services and sermons! The services are well planned with just the right amount of liturgy and beautiful music ( a mix of contemporary and traditional)! Children enjoy the first part of the service and children’s story time and then head downstairs with our amazing Sunday School teachers!
There is coffee and fellowship after the service each Sunday! There are occasional social events, weekly Bible Studies, Vacation Bible School for the kids in the summer, Missions to be active in, Pastoral support for the sick and other needs! We welcome new people and families joining us!

I have been a member of SAELC for nearly 14 years. When we first relocated to the area we found this church and are so very glad we did! It has been a welcoming and supporting community with very good Pastoral leadership throughout this time. It has an active congregation involved in many local efforts as well as international mission projects. In his sermons Pastor Darcy has a way of relating the Bible in such a way that you have those “ah hah” moments all the time! I definitely recommend dropping in to enjoy a service and a cup of coffee; you won’t be disappointed!

Pastor Darcy has such a way to bring the messages to our everyday life and makes everything relatable. The congregation is caring and a welcoming community. I am so impressed with how many sharing and giving projects SAELC is involved in.

I'm a long-time member of this congregation. I enjoy the talents of our wonderful musicians at regular worship services and look forward to the inciteful sermons that we receive from Pastor Darcy. But, an active church is much more than regular worship services; it also about outreach and activities outside of our four walls. SAELC is active in this regard as well. There are many opportunties to serve at church, in the neighborhood or even further afield.

I visit Alberta annually and always attend St Albert evangelical church. Don't let the word 'evangelical' scare you away.
There's nothing weird there. Just a welcoming and vibrant faith community. Really nice people.

This is a wonderful, caring community. SAELC is very mission oriented, supporting local, national and international missions and outreach financially and through direct congregational involvement. The pastor is a warm, caring individual and his messages are exceptional.
