I feel bad for this school’s rating-by Elbert sept 2024. Jireh, princes, Aubrey, Eirenaio, Liam, Cristian (Simmons), and Evana are cool tho! Pretty good school would recommend.

Don’t let this country setting fool you. It’s the worst school under a control freak of a principal. Your children can never academically achieve above and beyond as they are set up to have your children be under achievers no Matter how well they do. They base grades based on their mood. Split classes with unfair work be given either too easy to the older students or too hard for the younger students. French taken way to seriously with such hard work. They are so focused on the intermediate students and their cell phones and when they’re going to the washroom forgetting the fact theses are their last years until they are independently responsible of their decisions come high school. There are no rewards like my kids old school no motivation. They are screamers in here mrs Monteg mrs durkson to be exact. They favour students and don’t want to hear anyone else’s story unless they decide. Mrs durkson a LUNCH SUPERVISOR goes above her pay grade telling people to shut up not allowing any conversations to happen while they eat lunch blocks the washrooms like she’s a goalie or working at a penitentiary pulls kids by there hoods and is the witch of the hour at this school but is under the permission of the biggest mistake of this school the principal who condones this treatment and enforces this bully treatment on our children. The field is split based on grades. How does this teach social skills? As if when they go to work or high school or life in general there around the same ages. Covid is over isn’t it? Kids are told what they can play when they can play it. The children’s interests and what they enjoy doing is overlooked. The teachers here ( only from the ones I know) have got so comfortable with the tablets during Covid a lot of them still make the children do their work this way but we as good parents try to illiminate as much screen time as possible in the tech world we live in now. There school budget does not include paper I guess. How does this proactively practice their writing skills one of the only beneficial things we get from grade school. The principal often sits in classrooms over ruling a teacher to answer a student if they are directly talking to their teacher. Me personally after going to school and becoming a teacher I would not take a principal breathing down my neck embarrassing me and what I did to get there in front of my class. Bullying is taken lightly and never talked about like they claim. For the small gym they do have and the limited sports they do allow and if your child maintains grades they will find another reason if they choose to not allow them to participate like if you missed a day or two even though it’s for fun. I know not a lot of kids are so open and tell their parents things but parents need to take the time to speak to their kids and find out what goes on in their days. With London dealing with the amount of people that have moved here the past year the schools family dockets and vets are all over capacitated and the board is directing our children to these school in these little towns to help build there school and community lacking people and I’ve decided to put our family religious values aside and switch them to a public school until we can find something more fitting long term as this is not a school I want long term due to how miserable my children are while here. Do yourself a favour and save any future headaches.
