So far, so good. Visited many times in the last couple of months and didn’t find any issue with staff or the way hospital works. Sometimes you have to wait for so long for the registration and that is the worst part. Else everything is good.

I was asked by my nurse parctioner to go to the emergency room for chest pain and low oxygen. In less then 30 seconds I had a nurse call me a liar. Go to Blind river, even if it's an emergency.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy we do have this hospital here, and they have a few great doctors, nurses and staff (we are lucky to have a wonderful family doctor). Unfortunately they also have quite a few not so good ones. Perhaps if they weren't so many cutbacks, and they weren't so overworked and under-appreciated, that might help. As an in-patient; the food which used to be so good is now awful, just awful. I have had to bring food in to my husband many times when he was in-patient. He was also an in-patient at HSN Sudbury and what a difference with their food, it was amazing! Why can't ours be also?

Waited all day for them to take EVERY SINGLE PERSON but my husband. 7 hrs for nothing.. I hope every one of those nurses and doctors gets diarrhea in the middle of the night and stubs their baby toe on the way to the bathroom. TERRIBLE!!!

My name is Jamie Hewson
I have a learning disability and PTSD
I felt very uncomfortable with Dr I seen tonight. She didn't smile or percent herself in a comfortable manner. She kept repeating things and was cutting me off . I came in cause the the medication I was put on to take for an infection away, it was giving me heartburn severely bad and a headache. They tried to tell me that happens with all medication but I know that it doesn't. They said that they had nothing else to offer me and that I felt that I was pressured to stay on the medication even though they knew what I was experiencing with my body. I find that very unprofessional and then they made me feel bad by saying that I should be able to get a dentist. And I already talked to somebody two days ago and I explained that the the dentist I'm signed up with is able to see me for the first time December 6th and the other dentist Hillside said that they were capped with disability insurance and could not see me. My opinion here when someone has a disability they need to make them feel comfortable. Listen to them . Don't make them feel less important.
