Our daughters have been performing at Stagecoach for four (!) years now, and they absolutely love it. In addition to having a ton of fun - the performance is always a highlight of the session, for students and parents alike - we have really seen how much it has built their confidence over the past several years. Now, as they do a little more public speaking and performing at school, my wife and I see how their Stagecoach experience has really prepared them, and it is fantastic to see. Also, the teachers are the absolute best! We love it, and couldn't recommend it more.

My daughter has been participating in the Early Stages Stagecoach Program for 2 years now and she loves it! Stagecoach has increased her confidence not just in performing arts but in social settings and at school. I always love the end of term performances to see how much fun the kids have had and how much they have learned. I would highly recommend this program to a friend.

This year was our 9th year at Stagecoach but our first in theatre Further Stages show. It did not disappoint! We enjoyed it from start to finish and loved how roles were assigned thoughtfully to students to really showcase their strengths and talents. Our kids love participating in Stagecoach and have become much more confident with public speaking and performing. The Stagecoach team are so wonderful and supportive as well.

Stagecoach has been an amazing place to our daughter to get confidence and skills to express herself in many different ways. Teachers are so professional, creative and reliable. The staff at Stagecoach are talented, dedicated and enthusiastic. Much fun is had by all who attend and confidence soars over the weeks, as students are praised and lifted up week after week. Stagecoach is a safe space to practise, make mistakes and learn. The staff work with the students where they are and gently encourage them along their journey to “creative courage for life.” Even if your child isn’t looking to be a performer, the skills and confidence learned at stagecoach apply to all areas of life!

My daughter loves Stagecoach and has participated in the program for the last 4 years. It is a fantastic way to learn skills in singing, dancing and acting without the pressure of dance competitions, etc.

As parents, one of the hopes we have for our children is finding a healthy balance between education and extra curricular activities. For me, the importance of finding this healthy balance also extends, and lends itself, to my hopes of instilling in my children an open-mindedness to the world around them. As a parent, tapping into my child’s creativity has always been a very important aspect in their development. Stagecoach fell into our lives when we weren’t even looking. About seven years ago, my daughter received one of the “best Christmas gifts ever!” Her grandmother signed her up for a term at Stagecoach. Knowing absolutely nothing about the program, I started investigating. Seven years later, following Tosha from the heart of the city to her location in Oakville, my daughter is still going strong. As a parent/educator, I firmly believe in the importance of exposing children to the Arts. On so many levels - whether it be to enhance social skills, provide various windows to better tap into their creativity, strengthen their confidence and self esteem, allow them to become risk takers, more open minded and fast on their feet - this program allows for all of this to happen...and more. For three hours a week my daughter walks into a safe space, a space that allows her to truly come out of her shell - I think she even surprises herself sometimes. With the care, kindness and support of this incredible team of teachers, and the expertise and inviting program of the incredibly talented Tosha (principal), this program truly is a most wonderful gift. Highly recommended for any parent wanting to expose their children to the magical world of creativity and imagination through song, dance and drama. Stagecoach really does go above and beyond.

The instructors are highly professional, really passionate about what they’re doing. They love kids and truly care about them, help them to boost their self esteem, celebrate children’s success and achievements. Enrolling my children to Stage Coach in Oakville was one of the best decisions I made.
