Stageworks is one of the most friendly and family oriented studios I have experienced. My two girls literally danced every genre of dance there throughout their childhood to teen life and absolutely thrived, made great friends and loved the staff. Now their children are just loving dancing in the same place. I just couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great memories made and now I’m watching my grandbabies running in with happy smiles, and dances they want to share at home. Thank you.

This is my daughters second year at Stageworks and I could not be happier with this studio. Their preschool program and teachers are fantastic, knowledgable and truly care about their students.
We also enrolled our 3 year old in SMILE Play School at Stageworks and our daughter has grown so much.

Highly recommend this studio.

Zero stars if possible. I’m currently the bride taking photos at the barn and my ring bearer had a nose bleed.

Whoever answered the door was not only rude and intolerant, she was deplorable to a 9 year old that needed to wash his hands.

Great job team, way to be there for your community!!

I enrolled my granddaughter for the Hip Hop beginners. Unfortunately she missed her first class due to not being well. She attended her second class. It was awkward. I was told to leave, I was not aware that could not watch. I get it, but it was the delivery . Then due to missing first class , was not aware have to wear all black, nor was communicated this upon enrollment ( maybe was shared first class?) Nevertheless should have been communicated to me. I called and text so no reason info was not passed on to me. Well, my granddaughter did not wear black , and she did not have to sit out because was first class, but said that a boy had to sit out as he was not wearing black. That's horrible. I ensured we got her what was required and she attended her next class. No welcoming at all again.Just cold. My granddaughter again said the boy had to sit out, but this time she was very vocal she does not want to go anymore. She is scared she will do something wrong and be embarrassed in front of everyone. I felt the same way and after the first class she went too, was very awkward. Unless attending there frequently, you are just a fill in the spot. Will vet another dance studio as this girl loves to dance!
1 Star as only thing prompt was getting you to sign up.

I signed my daughters up for a sessional class based off a Facebook post about how they were offering mini sessions for the winter. My youngest was registered in the preschool class and my oldest in the ballet primary class. Everything was done through text which I thought was different since my other experiences with my older kids when they were in dance everything was done online through the website (enrolment, paying, schedule and uniform information). I was told they didn’t need uniforms because it was a mini class however I wanted them to get the whole experience so I asked what they were supposed to be wearing. I was told a pink dress for the preschool class. We show up the first day and everyone is wearing a specific dress you can only buy from the dance school since it’s a program apparently put on through the wiggles (this is what the receptionist told us). She also needed ballet, tap and jazz shoes which blew my mind since we were told nothing at all and I luckily had just purchased a pair of ballet shoes. The first class also happened to be the last class of the month which means parents could see the last 5 or so minutes. The teacher never told us this, she never asked my daughters name, she didn’t give me any details or anything. So I completely missed seeing my daughter in her first dance class. Had the receptionist (who is the best part of this studio) hadn’t told me I wouldn’t have even known it was a thing. At pickup time I asked the teacher to please let me know next time as I would love to watch. The receptionist did let my daughter join the next class so I could sit in but I still received a phone call about what happened from the lady who I had been texting. I’m assuming the owner? But who really knows. I was told I was supposed to talk to the receptionist instead of the teacher in those situations? And that other parents had confronted me in the class (which is a lie). It was a very weird conversation but I tried to stay light and move on. We go back and that class seems fine now. My other daughter was learning a winter dance with the other kids who also were there since September. She learnt this every class until the end of the session which happened to be 2 weeks before Christmas. Every class we had to sit and listen to the other parents and kids talk about the winter performance. On the last day everyone got an ornament with their names on it and were getting information for the performance. My daughter got an ornament with someone else’s name on it because there was “a mistake”. Fine, my kid is easy going and kind and doesn’t care. However to not include my daughter and the other kids to the winter performance and then constantly speak about it and make them rehearse it every class is horrible. I would have happily paid an extra fee to be included. I feel like I should get a refund for the time spent on the rehearsal. Another child who was also a session winter kid hurt her foot in the last class and the teacher kind of pushed her to the side until her mom showed up and then she had someone close the door so we couldn’t hear her cry. She never showed any empathy or even concern about the foot injury which seemed bizarre to me since it’s a dance studio and injuries should be taken seriously. But she was just a winter sessional so who cares? Basically don’t sign your kids up here unless you’re full year because they don’t care about you. I also texted looking for information asking to sign up for after Christmas since my daughter was sad not to see her friend again (the one with the injured foot). Darla asked to text me the next day and then I never heard from her again. She must be preoccupied with the Christmas performances half the class wasn’t invited to. All in all a very yucky experience. Even the other parents at this studio seem strange. One girl wanted her mom to record her and her mom rolled her eyes. Parents in the preschool class weren’t nice or friendly at all. It’s like a weird alternate reality. The are better studios.

I took my toddler to the Ready, Set, Move trial and the teacher was nice, interacted well with the kids and weren’t bothered when one of the toddlers got distracted. They took us on a tour and answered any questions we had. The service was awesome! I also loved that they had a trial in the first place to make sure it was a great fit for my child.

Some of the friendliest most helpful people to deal with! I was having trouble navigating the website to enroll my daughter in one of the classes and opted to contact them for help, I received a response by text message almost immediately by an actual human- not automated- and was able to have my daughter enrolled shortly thereafter.
All this on a Sunday morning! I didn’t expect a response until the workweek. Needless to say my daughter is thrilled to be signed up 🙂

I was very promptly contacted by Darla after submitting my inquiry and she was extremely helpful in the process of getting me up to speed on programs and pricing, and then helpful in the enrolment of both my daughters. We are very excited to start classes. The academy so far seems diligent, organized, and pleasant to work with, and we are thrilled with our choice! Looking forward to more great experiences with Stageworks!
