Never buy a headset from here. Terrible I bought a headset when I opened the box it was not turning on. It’s not even working when I went back to them and talk with manager and they are not accepting it. Worst customer experience. I will never buy anything from here again. Now I have to return my self to manufacture company. Then I have to courier it which cost me 29 dollars . And headset was 200 including coverage which is useless.

I saw a printer for sale on a Staples flyer.
Then I called the store to make certain that they had new stock of the advertised printer.
Upon this confirmation that they indeed had stock, I then drove to the store, to be informed that the only model was a repackaged floor model.
I was much happier with the new printer and the service i then purchased from Walmart.

I went to simply print some posters. Staff gave minimum of the customer service nicitiez and directed me to the machine and a laminated cheat sheet of instructions. When appearing unsure.He ensured me “even a 70 year old can do it”.

Staples is just another big box store understaffing, under paying and leaving it up to the customer to service themselves. How long till the big box store self serve computers and self checkouts will be prompting us for a tips.

Home Depot, Staples big box stores etc -pay your employees more or have more staff on.

Complete joke. Rude, un-knowledgeable and they simply DO NOT Care.
Time to close this store and put everything online so the people working there can go get another job.
Kid on the floor knew nothing - could not answer one tech question.He let me shop laptops for 45 minutes - yet 5 out of 10 of those laptops were not in stock. When I told the kid... you could have told me that. He said "shop amazon then".
Manager and others were having a good time behind the counter - yet no one has time to mark the products as out of stock, so I don't have to waste my time.

Manager has big chip on shoulder... no wonder - with the garbage service he is providing .

Bought my laptop on amazon.
Good luck looking for jobs when this store closes guys 🙂

Don’t do anything online with this Staples location. They either have no clue whether they have items in stock, or they are engaged in a “bait and switch” campaign. And wow, after looking at other reviews, this seems to be a common thing at the Port Alberni location! They take your money, then “realize” they don’t have what you want. They put a hold on your card, so you are waiting two or three days to get your money back. When your work-from-home laptop is stolen, and you’re in a rush to buy a replacement, this is a problem. Out of desperation, I even offered to buy the next model up if the manager was willing to split the difference (about $50). “Tyler” smugly told me too bad, so sad. I’m telling my fellow gov’t employees to go Best Buy instead.

Bought a new Laser Printer from Staples, when I couldn't print from another device and it was impossible to talk to a human at Brother I phoned the store looking for assistance. Turns out they don't have anyone to assist so why am I paying a premium price at Staples ? Ordered my toner from Amazon, and saved money

i have since gone back to staples several times. and the service has improved a lot. staff was helpful, knowledgeable andhad no problem returning an item for refund.

Go up
