Unfortunately not a place I would recommend. My daughter danced there for 7 years and in hindsight it was a really poor parenting decision on my part not to switch studios years ago. When the final recital conflicted with her grade 12 diploma exams this year she had to make the very tough decision to miss the recital. She could have made one of the dates but knew it wouldn’t be fair to her team as they would need to learn different choreography for the day she wasn’t there. She made the difficult and mature decision to tell the studio director that she would not be able to participate in recital (with a month of advance notice). This led to my daughter being “immediately discontinued” from the studio without even being allowed to be in the pictures for the year or finish any of her classes. Instead of ending her 7 years at the studio with fond memories, the mention of dance makes her so sad. There was no effort of communication with our family and when I reached out the response I got was quite harsh. Overall just a really unfortunate experience and a heartbreaking way to end 7 years of dance at the studio for my child.

My daughter has been dancing at Star Bound for 8 years and absolutely loves this studio! Miss Kendra and all of the teachers are amazing, talented and caring people. The technique that is taught is incredible and the imagination and time that is spent on their routines
is like no other. The awards this studio and its dancers bring home from competition every year is unbelievable. I love being a part of this family and have made some great friends, there is no other studio I would want my daughter to dance at and neither would my daughter. Keep being amazing SBDC!!❤️❤️

This studio is like a second home to me. I have been dancing at this studio for a number of years and I could not be more happy with them. All of the teachers are welcoming and it is like a family. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcomed and accepted. The devotion the teachers put in to all of the dancers astounds me and I don't know how they do it. The staff encourages every single student to be their best dancer and self they can be. Thank you to all of the teachers who have made me feel loved and welcome from the get go all the way to my last year this year. I can say without a doubt that this I am proud to be apart of this community.

I danced with SBDC for many years and am beyond happy that I did. The studio and everyone in it was my second family. All of the teachers want only the best for their students and are amazing at getting you to where they know you can be. They see the best in each student and I am so grateful I was able to spend everyday at the studio bettering myself, working with my team and getting the best possible dance experience.

I danced with Star Bound Dance Company for almost 12 years and had the most amazing experience. I was able to gain confidence over the years, not just in my performance but also in myself, which was thanks to the supportive and encouraging environment that the studio provided. Miss Kendra focuses on having a good team dynamic and everyone supports each other during competitions. I made many lifelong friends and amazing memories here.

This is the 5th season at SBDC for our 3 girls and I can honestly say it is hands down the best dance studio we have been apart of. Miss Kendra and all the teachers at the studio are not only educated in what they do, but the talent that the studio has produced is second to none. The environment created at the studio for our kids is very much like a second home. A place of comfort and familiarity where they can be themselves and do what they love.

We just found out in the last month that my child's class needed more practice for their year end show which was a couple of weeks away, and that we would be required to come to (only the second parent viewing of the year) to attempt to take a video and help our kids with the dance. I was so beyond frustrated to find this out as it left us with hardly any time at all to help, and very poor quality videos as we were asked to sit in an awkward position facing the class... The communication and support at this studio is poor at best. The least they could have done from the beginning since they clearly had a plan for their routine is communicate about the struggles with the routine instead of telling the kids how great they are doing every day, and provide ONE adequate video and the music so that families could practise with the kids from the get-go as they have time. They are in a class for 4 year olds to 6 year olds. I reached out to the owner directly and she promised to send me a video that was of better quality-which never came. This studio has really affected her confidence and she won't be returning to dance next season anywhere unfortunately. Not at all impressed with the experience.

What an Incredible studio!! I recently joined this studio last year and I am amazed at how welcoming they are, they instantly made me feel like I was apart of their family. I definitely recommend this studio for anyone for is looking for outstanding technique, amazing and kind teachers who care for you and treat you like family, they push you to your fullest potential. All of the students and staff are so supportive of each other and are always willing to give a helping hand so nobody feels left out. This studio is now my forever home and it can be yours to.
