My first time at this retreat centre and I must say we really enjoy the experience and we will surely be back here. While the centre is a bit dated, their services are still top-notch.

The staffs were kind enough to accommodate our group request to lodge here even though it was just 4 days to the event. The meeting room was great for our program and the kitchen especially the beverage bar was superb.

I highly recommend this retreat centre.

Went for the engaged encounters weekend retreat, and what an incredible experience. Go with an open heart and mind, and you’ll leave a changed person.

The staff, food, and accommodations were great, no complaints whatsoever.

If given the choice to do the course online, or the retreat, do the retreat, you won’t regret it.

Simple, a little bit dated. But wonderful staff, good food and great place for a meeting or retreat. Take some time out of this fast paced Iife and spend some time nurturing your spirit at Star of the North.

A simple clean and inexpensive place to be quiet for the weekend
It was perfect - couldn’t have asked for more , thank you very much . It’s very valuable to have a place where a simple person can go and rest and be quiet

Don't bring anything you want to take back home. I got infections bites from bugs and had to throw out a lot of clothing just to be sure. Just hoping I won't contract Lyme disease, bed bugs, or scabies.
