I'm the owner of Yampa Valley Landscaping and have had the benefit of Stephanie's help with some amazing projects. She is so good at getting the right plants in the right areas. She knows more about trees, shrubs and flowers than anyone I have worked with. She is super organized, reliable and easy to work with. If you are looking for high quality and someone to create a custom landscape design I would strongly recommend Steph Appel.

Stephanie created our landscape design along with directly leading and overseeing its installation. Her level of knowledge is outstanding and her ability to create something that meets the local environmental capacity and homeowner desires is unparalleled.

She took our front/back yard from a non-native, water intense, rock filled, brick buried mishmash into a zero scape, hyper drought resistant, zen oasis. She did all of this in less than 6 weeks, while working through limited days in 'mud May'. Check out her handiwork on our Airbnb listing, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Put simply, if you are looking for someone who has excellent design skills along with deep botany and climate expertise, Stephanie is your person.
