I called this office to ask what the process was for getting paid with an "Emergency Dental Voucher" - I also wanted to know what the process was for approval of said voucher for a patient. I need to know this information to know if dental vouchers are actually a form of payment we can accept. We had been asked by a patients immigration officer to provide them a quote of treatment value for approval for the voucher. I wanted to make sure that we included everything that was needed so that the approval process went smooth. The agent at this office was very confusing. She told me the questions I had were vague? And said she couldn't help me at all and there was nothing she could tell me. But when I called Alberta Supports directly they were easily able to answer both my questions about this service with no problem. I was told what was required for approval for this program, (Just an official treatment plan, no letter required, only a note stating that it was emergent), and they were also able to explain how the voucher actually works and how our office would get payment.
Edit: Im editing to say that the response your team has left is very bizarre. The fact that you didnt acknowledge that your employee was 1000% unhelpful and had no hand in me finding a solution... is just weird? This review was a review left on the STETTLER Alberta Supports Centre, so the response should have acknowledged my experience... Im glad youre pleased another office helped me...? But what a weird thing to respond with.

Sharon and Patty are very helpful.
Other staff members...not so much.
Time to retire Sarah as she doesn't have the skills to deal with people properly! Arrogant and stagnant!
Usually get told to call Central office in Red Deer as they're extremely limited in what they can do for you.
