Dr. Noronha: In 2008 my mom had several issues she needed to discuss with dr. Noronha. She was losing stength in her right leg and falling. Dropping cups. But he would never listen to her. He said only one thing per appointment and she always needed different pills renewed. She wasn't allowed to make "extra" appointments. Dr. Naronha wanted her to pay $100 EACH for her and my dad every year so he would write notes free of charge. They didn't need notes for anything written and she tried to decline but he told her if she wanted him as a doctor she needed to pay. There was a doctor shortage back then too. As time went on she couldn't breathe. He never sent her for testing for it. He wouldn't listen to her. Eventually she ended up in Kingston hospital in the ICU and was diagnosed with lung cancer. He got this report and only then found time to worry. (That my dad would call the college of physicians). He would call and say nice things to dad when he'd never called before. They said my mom probably had 3 days because there wasn't enough time to start chemotherapy. I got 1.5 days. I have never forgiven this doctor for what i felt was blatant neglect. Money over care was his only concern. I wanted to go to every court i could and every paper, but my dad being a very private person, wouldn't let me. So all i could do is hope he had learned from my mom's death that i believe his neglect was responsible for. Now i find out i have a friend who he's repeating this same scenario with!!! Lionel, know i still have all my mom's journals with daily, DETAILED entries stating she tried to ask for help and was told "only one thing can be discussed per visit". All the times she pleaded with you to look into her issues. When you told her she just had a lazy leg, ride a bike. (How does someone have 1 lazy leg What testing did you do to determine this?). She followed the advise and fell at the road hurting herself so bad she couldn't get up and had to wait for someone to go by the house on a dead end road, to see her. If this story sounds familiar to anyone else that would like the support of these daily journals (10 years worth before she died in july, 2009), please let me know. I would be happy to share them if it means showing a pattern of neglect. Money in his pocket over care. Lionel, i lost perhaps 20 years of being with my mom. I don't forgive or forget. Make sure you start acting like a doctor for your patients now before it's too late for other families too. And my friend. Lorrie. Ione and Tom's daughter.

Our health care system could not be failing us more.

If you need to be seen a few spots are held every day for walk ins which are gone unless you are lucky enough to get through at 8:30 and one second.

Never fear there is an after hours clinic that will also see you but you can't call until 4pm. Oh ya, they also book up immediately. So your options are emergency or emergency.

I wonder why emergency rooms are over run with non emergency people.

They seem to be very caring, however any time you call you’re put on hold for about 20 minutes. I was told a number of times I would be contacted when an important referral went through. A week later I already made my referred appointment because it had been processed but they still haven’t contacted me to confirm. And the receptionist sits about 2 meters from the waiting room, so anything she repeats to you she’s repeating to the whole room. I also was told I was going to be called by my family doctor, after not being called I phoned and was told I was going to be contacted- they never phoned.

If your job is jeopardy and you need disability forms filled out don’t go here, I had forms that had to be sent into work and paid three times to fax them and the company never received them. On top of this I was unable to pay the $75 fee for the forms to be filled out that needed to be handed in that day and they refused to release them even though my job was on the line even after telling them I could leave my health card they refused. They have no compassion and operate solely for profit and will charge you for everything.

I have been Dr. Koshela Ranjith's patient since she originally came to Stirling. She genuinely cares about her patients, let there be no mistake on this point. I am compelled to give her very high marks which she has earned over the years making spot on decisions including referrals to specialist when they were warranted. She also takes a very proactive approach to medicine by providing sound medical advice, encouraging patients to get tests, go for a shot etc. to avoid new health problems. The medical center in Stirling has evolved during the pandemic. Like so many medical clinics, gone are the days when people went to the doctor over nothing plugging up the waiting room with long wait times. Today, visits to the doctor are regimented like a military operation. You show up at the exact time of your appointment, you see the doctor in a matter of minutes, you have your appointment, and you leave. This is the way it should be in my humble opinion. I respect Koshela as a person and as a physician. I feel privileged to have her as my family doctor. I always thank her for seeing me.

This dr and his staff are so useless,And has also diagnosed me with one thing and prescribed pills for it then they were not working so said I had something else but prescribed me same pills that hadn't worked for last diagnosis. I don't know who feels out paper work there and sends it out bc its never done properly and is never sent out on time also phoned to get prescription refilled they said they would fax it and they didn't so called them back and said they would and still didn't, pharmacy finally said they would call. I think either dr should give up his practice or do his job properly, I am assuming he gets staff to do his paperwork and faxing if that is the case he needs to hire all new staff.

I grew up with Doctor Noronah being my family doctor 🥼 he is one of the most patient and kind doctors around he has always been able to address my issues. What can I say if your looking for a family doctor Who is kind and cares about you then you won’t regret having him as a family doctor.

She was an OK doctor but my most visit was terrible with the receptionist. I was given the wrong date, and now they want to charge me. It would be nice if they owned up to their mistake. Very disappointed 😞
