Awesome climbing gym with tons of routes, we were there for 3.5 hours and didn't manage to get through even half of them. Auto belay stations are a huge plus. Loved the idea of climbing on the ceiling, will definitely be back to do a lead course. Thanks for the super fun afternoon!

Very cool climbing gym in a great little seaside town with many different routes, bouldering, top rope, auto-belay, bolts for lead/sport climbing,etc. The staff were great, very helpful and informative. I had a lot of fun here with my brother and his family who are new to climbing, and I will definitely be back again!

We just had an amazing birthday party for our 6-year-old at Strait Climbing! Jesse was super friendly and positive, helping all the first-timers feel (and be) safe. There was lots of opportunity for low wall climbing when kids weren’t being belayed or using the auto-belay stations, and a slack line for balancing, plus a nice little chill-out area where we had snacks and cake (there was a fold-out table, a sink/counter, a little fridge…easy peasy for our refreshments). We loved the welcoming atmosphere and really appreciated the owners responding to questions in advance over email to iron out the details. I think there will be many repeat climbers after today, us included…it was a top-notch experience. Very happy to have this available to us in Sechelt. Thank you!

Was here with our children for a birthday party. The climbing section was big enough to accommodate us all and keep the kids busy. Nice that they had some clip and climb options (where you don’t need a belayer). Had routes for all levels of climbers. The owner was great with the children. Only suggestion would be that if it continues to get rented out for birthday parties and groups to maybe add an area for eating. It’s a great place for a birthday party. Would come back to climb here.

Was visiting from Vancouver and was pleasantly surprised at what a great gym the Jesse and his wife had built from the ground up (literally!). It's got everything you need, and how cool is it to have a slack line in the middle of the gym and a full roof traverse, WILD! Oh and go ruin yourself in the cracks if you're hungry for more :p

A super relaxing atmosphere, and I look forward to coming again and seeing how it developes over the years!

We had a fabulous time climbing here. Highly recommend coming here.
Jesse was very friendly and made our experience much more enjoyable.
As somewhat experienced climbers, we climbed for 4 hrs and barely got through half the routes. The roof route was so much fun.
We will definitely come back again when we're in town. Thanks Jesse if you see this.

Jesse and Leanne have created a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for every level of climbing ability to go and enjoy. There is a wonderful variety of routes for all different abilities that are regularly reset. They are happy to give advice and coaching, provide high quality gear, and are great fun to be around too.

Throughout Covid they have continuously provided a clean and safe environment and set protocols that went above and beyond to ensure the safety of those using their facilities.

Great roped gym in the heart of sechelt, they have a good selection of easy to harder climbs. Owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They really make the most of the space with 50+ climbs in the gym. Definitely worth checking out if you are on the Sunshine Coast!
