They did this really cool thing where a young woman told us “it’s time for the 16+ swim now so your toddler must leave the toddler pool”.

I was surprised enough to ask “do you really mean that the toddler pool is being vacated to make room for the 16+ crowd?”

She told me that yes it was indeed and we must remove the toddler from the toddler pool.
😅
This was amusing and so my response was “ I look forward to seeing the 16+ crowd playing in the 18 inch pool”.

And so we vacated the pool, grandparents, parents and grandchildren altogether.

I’ve now been approached by a friendly young man explaining to me that the young woman is upset with my tone and words and that it’s a problem.

We disagreed politely and went our separate ways.

First off, what a shame to vacate the pool of children which is designed for and only for small children. It’s 18” deep at the deep end and the only adults in it are there watching their very much <16 children. Second, what a shame to pretend that there was anything offside about my ‘tone’. Voices were not raised, bad language was not used, ‘tones’ were something between disappointed and amused, as they should be when pool staff choose to enforce rules that make no sense. Playing the victim for brownie points is kind of pathetic. This photo is a real time demonstration of how that pool emptied out completely. But hey, keep those rules hard in place guys, if it makes you feel big and important to chase families out of your lovely facility.

Very impressed. Our first visit there and the staff were very welcoming, we got to wander around and see the facilities without any problems and the front desk staff more than accommodated our questions. Wonderful staff, we are very much looking forward to buying monthly passes here.

The ladies that work there are beautiful and awesome to deal with. if they still work there, i had to move to Victoria bc, loved the teachers for my classes to help me with excersices in pools. Wish I have this in Victoria

Early mornings are the best, to enjoy saunas and a hot tub with next to nobody around.
There is a gym overlooking the pool when working out. Chang rooms and showers are large and nice.

I only come to use the showers as I live off grid $3.65 just to shower isn't bad at all
The only thing I would love for them to adjust would be the length of time for the water. It only runs for like 10 seconds. At least a minute would be nicer
I understand that you don't want kids leaving it on constantly and all

But a minute wouldn't hurt

Hopefully it can be adjusted

Came to use the pool on Saturday at 4pm and apparently after 3 they only do private bookings. What a ridiculous rule for a public facility.
