We stopped in for lunch while in town for a hockey tournament. First off, the facility is HUGE, it goes on forever in many levels, and is just so neat.
The way it was laid out it appeared they were well prepared for the crowds who could descend.
The service was prompt and professional. We had a small party, and were seated in a section with a whole team, and both tables saw good service.
The menu has a huge variety, truly something for everyone, and all of it looked good. We had mostly standard lunch fare: soup & sandwiches. All were great.
The one frustration was that there is no floor level seating. Upon entering you must go up or down stairs, one among our party is not very mobile. The bathroom is located by the entrance, so we had to rush lunch and have our food packed up so that this person could use the washroom on the way out, limiting the trips up and down the stairs.

Beautiful place for Christmas dinner/event. Has a lot semi private area for team/company events. Excellent decoration. Love the vibe.

Food: decent selections. My side vegetable was a bit hard ( didn’t grill long enough). But my husband’s was totally fine. I think they were too busy that night.

Overall I love the place. Kids had so much fun.

I visited this restaurant with high expectations due to its glowing reviews, anticipating a wholesome meal. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Initially, my order for sushi was denied, which was quite disappointing. When my food finally arrived, I was appalled to find four black hairs in my dish, a bite taken out of my French fries, and my chicken accompanied by a mysterious jelly-like substance that was unidentifiable.

To make matters worse, the glasses were stained with lipstick, and the bacon was undercooked, raising further concerns about the kitchen's hygiene and food safety standards. The waitress's attitude was outrageous, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout my visit. Given these circumstances, I cannot recommend this restaurant for families or anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was a deeply unsatisfactory outing that fell short of my expectations. If I could give a 0 I would!

The menu has been the same since they opened. They introduced a “feature menu” but those were the same options for years. There’s finally a couple of new features. One is the truffle fries. The fries themselves are pretty good, nicely golden and crispy but the dip was a congealed translucent mess. I asked for another dip and they brought me the same looking stuff that has been clearly sitting out and in a hot dish.. this made me too nervous to consume. Who puts a cold dip into a hot dish? Honestly, The Station is one of the last places we go as it’s pretty overpriced and quite boring. After 30 years, we’ve had it all a few times by now. The wait staff is great but that’s really the only thing going for this place.

The Strathmore Station is an iconic business in Strathmore that provides amazing food at reasonable prices in an amazing atmosphere.

This restaurant is actually split into 2 businesses. There is the lounge on the lower level with pool tables and VLTs and then the restaurant upstairs whichvis family friendly. Both serve the same great food and can handle huge groups of people.

It opens at 11am for lunch and serves delicious Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches. The bread for the sandwich is baked there and is incredible! They don't skimp on the meat and toppings in the sandwich either. It was so large and delicious that I could only eat half after eating an appetizer and took it home. Even a couple of hours later it still tasted amazing! If you get anything with fries 🍟 here, be sure to also order their gravy too. They give a huge ramekin of goodness.

It is easy to find on the highway and there is plenty of free parking too. This would be a great place to have a party 🥳.

We had a wonderful server named Jessica who was super attentive and kind. The food was super amazing! The carrot cake was so big!
The atmosphere of the restaurant was definitely train themed but very tastefully done ! 100% will be back

Went here while passing through, definitely a good choice!! Me and my friend ordered a medium cheese pizza to share, and let me say it was a good choice haha! It was super delicious and it filled the hunger hole. Will be coming back, service was great too!
