We've been coming here for a girls getaway for many years. Rooms are always clean and well stocked with extra towels and extra blankets if needed.We are not here to cook meals so the kitchen facilities are just fine for coffee and microwave snacks.Location is perfect for the beach and restaurant. The cleaning lady is awesome and helped us out with anything needed, thank you Jolene. We will be back next year and hopefully many more.

We went for 3 days in July 2024. It was amazing. The owner was very accomidating. Quick with responed to messages. The location is amazing. Rooms we very clean, welcoming and everything you would need is there. 5 min walk to the beach, in what seems like a retirement community. A very nice unplug from reality.

Update 7/26/2024. What a shady response to a review written 11 months ago. So, which one you don’t recall - me staying in your motel or me asking for extra pillows?! Are you insinuating that I just went to your property and took some pictures I posted with my review?! Maybe you only acknowledge 5-stars reviews ,eh?! Chopping off 1 Star.

Saw in AirBnB. Stayed in 2 beds cabin and thought we can extend seeing it is only 5-7 min walk to the beach, 3 min walk to Clubhouse restaurant with ice cream shop, pet friendly but the host wasn’t that responsive from the beginning so we just changed plans. Cabin has small room and bathroom. 4 pillows and extra pillow/towels I’ve asked for. Missing kettle in the kitchen, there are only towels provided in the bathroom, ceiling fan/light remote didn’t work.
Over-all, good enough for a weekend get-away.

We booked this place for two nights using the site pictures for reference.The pictures do not reflect the actual experience.The couples room is very small,bathroom incredibly small, mold in the shower wooden slats on the shower floor need replacing.No privacy outside of the room very disappointing.We left after one night.They want you to take out the garbage ,see picture of garbage maybe they should read their own requests.Chip truck has not operated for what looks like years .One star is generous

My first solo vacation was perfect! Small, clean, quaint room, with a kitchenette. It’s a bit like walking back in into the past. It was perfect! The beach is only a 3 min walk. White sand, blue water and amazing sunsets. The Beach Club is a great restaurant with entertainment on the weekends, 2 min walk, basically across the street! Even though there were a couple families with kids, I found the room to be quiet. I loved it so much I extended my stay! Thank you Sal for being a great host! I’ll be back and might even bring my husband next time!

We've stayed at Sunset Cottages and Cabins twice and have had a great experience both times. The location is great with only a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach- Ipperwash Beach. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, includes a full bathroom and kitchenette to prepare meals. Highly recommend!

Just stayed in the 2 bed Cabin and it was perfect. The room was nice and cool when I arrived. Everything was very clean and it had everything I needed for a few days stay. Walking distance to beach as I had hoped for and great sunset as I had heard. I highly recommend.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and son in cabin 1. The room was spotless when we checked in. The whole area was very clean. It was a great escape. The shower is smaller but the price is affordable, beach is very close and we spent most of our time there. Nighttime we had a fire that was provided by the owner. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be coming back.
